Hello all! - thorgibrewer - 10-05-2024 Hello everyone, I'm a new RPGmaker XP user, I just recently bought one of the related humble bundles yesterday and looking to make maps and background images for use in Fabula Ultima a JRPG-like tabletop roleplaying game. I've got 0 experience in any of this kind of software so really looking forward to reading through and learning from this forum. So you have no experience in this kind of software.. As someone said, "We learn by doing". And besides the scripts/plugins and resources, we do have a tutorial section that has some helpful articles. Some that are more carte blanche, and do not cater to any individual engine. RE: Hello all! - kyonides - 10-06-2024 Honestly, I've never heard about Fabula Ultima and I wonder why. Don't worry! Here you can even find scripters that post stuff you can use in MANY different engines. RE: Hello all! - Remi-chan - 10-12-2024 If you have zero experience then you could do far worse than starting with rpgmaker, as it's very user friendly and able to create things. Making a good game will still take work, but it will rarely feel like an impossible mountain to climb. You can also ask some fellas like DerVVulf, AVGB or even dare i say ... me -- for assistance.
