Please no. :x I mean he's hot, but he doesn't seem like the type who would work well in a Spider Man movie.

Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios announced today they are moving forward with a film based on a script by James Vanderbilt that focuses on a teenager grappling with both contemporary human problems and amazing super-human crises.

This made me :X in a major way. That isn't the direction I'd like to see them take the series. (Although, to be honest, I think they've already dragged it out too far.) It sounds like they're turning it into another teen movie, which I'm really not interested in AT ALL.

Spiderman is one of those series that is good in the first and second movie, then they keep making it because it's popular and it becomes crap. I won't see spiderman 4 anyway.

You can only milk a series so much until you start to draw nothing. There is no reason to continue this series and I HATE when movies change the main actor. Reminds me of Mortal Kombat and then Mortal Kombat Annihilation. None of the cast were the same except Liu Kang. Makes no sense. If they were going to do another movie, there is no reason to drop Tobey. But then again, there is no reason for a new spiderman movie. New ideas folks. You can only do so many remakes until it's too much.
