Hello! My name is Mayari.
I've dabbled with RPGMaker (vx/vxa/mv) on and off for about 15 or so years now, but recently I've fallen in love with using RMXP. I'm currently working on a short game about a party who doesn't appreciate their healer, so the healer leaves to join the enemy's side. Hopefully someday I can finish it.
Other than that, I enjoy reading and writing stories, listening to music, and playing FFXIV with friends.
I'm probably gonna lurk most of the time, but I hope to get along well with the folks here. I'm in your care!

*HOWUUUUU!!!* are ya doing!??
Out of curiosity, what's your basic skill-set when using these engins? Are you better at mapping and world design, or are you skilled in tileset designing pixelwork? Inquiring werewolf/troll hybrids wanna know.

Heyo! I'm doing well. How about you?
To answer your question: I'm more of a writer, so writing scenarios and then eventing the cutscenes for them is probably the process I enjoy the most. I also think I'm pretty okay at making maps with the built-in editor and whatever assets I have on hand (usually the RTP). Finding out RMXP has layers in the map editor is such a gamechanger! That's one of the reasons I decided to use it instead of MV for my current project. Other than that, I also have a little bit of experience with sprite animation and can make some custom sprites/animations in a pinch, but my art skills in general are very rudimentary.

Oh lawd! More XP users, I'm feeling like a real fancypants using MV like the silly modernist trash I am!
But eyyy welcome new potentially productive member! May I presume you are a refugee from the other now extinct epicenters of rpgmaker soothsaying? Perhaps Rpgmaker.net, or Rpgmakercentral? Or... Gosh, so many casualties lately! Or perhaps you are in one that still yet lives but teeters on the edge of stasis? Either way, I, the goddess of chaos and garbage, welcomes ye to this- what I predict will be the final sanctuary of RPGmaker just... in general. The only titan which remains ain't faring great- and given the steady hand leading this place I foresee it outliving even that behemoth!
Welcome, to Save-point!
