the past three episodes have been good. not FANTASTIC but they have been loads better than anything since the first season. samuel's character seems to be symbolic of the writing of the show in its quest for redemption. if they keep up what they've been doing in the past three episodes then it may just get there but it's going to be VERY DIFFICULT to get past the garbage that clogged up the the past few seasons leading up to this point
