Oh, and a friend of mine who tried out the "game in a week version" of my game got stuck for a while on the final boss... because only one of his party members survived the battle against Fafnir and got the exp from it. The final battle is still 100% possible, but it becomes a whole lot harder. Especially if Elena didn't stay alive and get exp from the Fafnir battle. So... just in case, I'd recommend keeping a save before the Fafnit battle unless you win it with everyone alive. =P

Also... it's not actually worth spending the time taking down all the elemental shields since Hel revives them every 10th of her turns ( and on the 7th turn from the battle's start ). Instead, I'd recommend taking down just one (or maximum two) and focus the rest of your attacks on Hel. Killing a single Shield will remove Hel's resistance to that element, making her 50% weak to it instead. So if you kill the fire shield, she will take more damage from fire. But it's not worth taking down every shield, since there's not really any point in exploiting all 4 weaknesses. Just a hint, in case you'd get stuck too long on the final battle. =P
