I've experienced this issue again recently while trying to play Samven's Deceit x Justice, and I would like to apologize publicly to him and anybody who has ever sent me a demo or completed game that I just seemed to ignore or forget about. It is not something that I do on purpose, and I do plan on playing DxJ and a couple other games within the next few days, I'm just stuck in the mindset to finish mine.Quite frankly, man, if your girlfriend wasn't a bigger priority than playing mine and other people's games then that'd be an issue. The health of a lady is far, far more important than some amateur gaming projects.
My girlfriend has been in the hospital for the past five days, swollen liver and a bunch of "we don't know yet" stuff, but at the very least she doesn't have cancer! I've tried to keep the house spotless each day, waiting for them to let her come home, but today I'm just "meh." At the very least, she seems to be in high spirits but I don't know what this all leads to yet so...
Nothing can be done but to just keep working and living life as normal, so that is what I've been doing, and the kids seem to be helping a little more, so that's good!
You're a good man to be standing by her in this time of need.
I'm glad to hear it was caught early but I offer my condolences nonetheless for the fact that it happened to begin with. It's never nice to see someone you love suffering but I'm glad for you that she seems to be doing a little better.
