The game would have kind of a SimCity-esque vibe to it; in which you have to remake all of existence and basically design your world. You can blow it all up and start again from scratch whenever you like but the only way to "win" is to get to the end and realise that, now that you've gone through the effort of rebuilding creation that you actually rather like it and thus dedicate yourself to protecting everything you've made as the world's new god from anyone else who would make the same mistakes that you did.
Your plot reminded me of Megamind a bit though with gods then.
Either way I'd love to play this game ^^
