three months later, my extended break is over. i've done a lot of writing, a lot of exploring, and a lot more video games than i'd have liked.
BUT
every time I do this, the scope of my story seems to exponentialize. Just having ChargenEX has eclipsed the amount of content i previously planned for. I haven't been working on the ultimate tilesets much either, it's just such a daunting task to undertake.
today, I want to say the next demo will be available in about six weeks. that gives me until October 21st. I think the six month democycles are a lot more doable, and allow for a lot more content to be included.
After that, my tentative finish date is still december 20th. if the end of the world comes, I don't want to have not finished my game. but isn't that some shit though? how much do i suck if it takes the end of the world for me to finish a project.
