In my world, I've been pursuing a music minor, but because of money and a general burnt-out-on-school feeling, I don't know if I am going to finish out the program. This was sparked by a sudden appearance of several mechanical engineering positions for Gibson Guitar in Nashville and California, and I'm having a hard time not trying to go for one of them right now. Such a mixture of engineering and music is like a dream for me, but I feel like I have committed myself to some things at people and school. So what do I do? Stick around for the sake of commitments or take off for my own betterment, hoping that doing so doesn't burn all of my bridges? Life, she can be a cruel mistress.
