So, Pirate Metal is a thing.

Have you heard Mexico, and Mexico for dogs? Very fun stuff...

Lately, I've been listening to some Machinae Supremacy again. Not sure why, but they really draw me in with their music. And they can tell a story, too.
And they have a Commodore 64 SID chip they use in their music, so there's that, too.

^Very respectable. And I checked, they have a ton of free songs for download, but none of the links worked. Must be a huge demand.   

I can see their inspiration from video game music, it's totally awesome.
