I looked up Imageepoch, and apparently they were behind a couple Fate games and even Yoshi's New Island. That's interesting, since I wasn't aware the sales were bad on any of them.
Methinks the main problem with Imageepoch is that they were the self-proclaimed "Saviors of JRPGs", the ones destined to usher us in a glorious new age the likes never seen since the SNES/PS1 era.
Sadly, most of the RPGs they developed were average at best, nothing really to write home about. So the company came up short and became the butt of jokes among RPG enthusiasts. Still, they will be missed by the few that actually enjoyed their works, like yours truly.
Also Yoshi's New Island was developed by Arzest, a developer studio founded by members of Artoon (Yoshi's island DS) shortly after the company went defunct.
