Hearing about a console port of an RPG Maker makes me think of the old RPG Makers for the ps1/ps2. You could make some interesting stuff with stock resources, but there's really nothing to it. Heck, I still have RPG Maker 3. One of the most awkward engines I've ever worked with, with very little flexibility for anything except making towns and the world. But it takes FOREVER, because playstation controller typing and weird menus.
From what I see, the MV console port has had a lot of resources plopped into it. And they're even planning on having a "Reward" system for people who log on every day.
Very interesting.
Anyway, if people want to get it for some reason, more power to those people. I'm interested to see what people come up with.
