Sharing here should be forbidden, 'cause is kinda addictive.
Since last week things happened. I received a call from a childhood "friend" (let's say that) and after so much about our lives she recommended me to apply my CV to a huge company, almost 2 hours of distance from here.
I was really afraid of going there, but I put myself up and went to face this challenge.
When I got there, for my surprise, I discovered my "friend" worked there as well. She told me she worked nearby. I haven't see her for 7 years or so. She winked at me and walked away (she couldn't talk at the workplace). I was kinda nervous 'cause I didn't know if WE could work together.
Fast forward to the said job interview, there were two vacancies, with only three candidates. I was the oldest and most experienced of them, the other guys were really young. We all did well in the interview and I got to show my skills and ability to speak english AND show my portfolio even tho the vancancy was suppose to work on a PC whole day just helping with adm and stuff, the interviewer wanted to know. She said we all would know the results by monday. I made friends with them and they were as insecure as me so that was nice haha
Today I got an e-mail saying I was not required for the function, but they would save my CV for another occasion. One of the guys called me and told the same thing. I am kinda disappointed 'cause I owe a lot of money to bank for years now and... well it's been hard to take care of my grandma. I was talking this sunday with my aunt about try to pay the nurse to take care of her everyday since for now she just came by and help me twice a week. Also, it's been a while my life is kinda stuck and I didn't get to study in a nice university like some of my friends so... that's a shame. Still the guy living with the parents.
Well, looks like the search continues. I won't get too sad, but yeah, it's not over until we say it's over. But I really wanted this opportunity. Even if was kinda far and out of my scope. It would help a lot...
