The Syrian civil war is now 8 years old, as of January 26th, which is exactly how long I've been keeping track of it. I don't want to hijack the thread, so I'll put my comments in a spoiler.
Iranians are a joke as soon as they leave their own backyard. The Iranian Quds force is the most malnourished group of soldiers I've ever had the pleasure of laying my eyes on (thanks to heavy pressure from international sanctions.) So long as we keep them isolated in their own country, and we don't have leadership stupid enough to call for invasion, they are only a threat via the use of paid mercenaries.
I've heard of many viral pandemics over the years, enough to come down with a bad case of normalcy bias. However, I can't figure out if the Chinese response is blown way out of proportion or if the disease is truly contagious and deadly enough to justify such a response. Entire cities shut down? 56+ million unable to move between regions? Governments weren't reacting in this fashion when it came to Ebola, SARS, Swine Flu or Zika. Then again, I'm not an epidemiologist and I sure as heck don't want to see anybody I know dying from this nasty virus. Whatever happens in China needs to stay in China and I hope them the best.

Ever hear of "Predictive Programming"? So Comedy Central seems to have made a skit about Kobe Bryant dying in a helicopter crash as depicted in a cartoon. Twitter user @quick17_ has pointed a lot of other things out but I don't know how to directly link his post on here. The best I can do is present this link from Alex Jones.
