Believe me KDC when I tell you that your Windows 10 installation is not the only one coming up with such quirks. A few weeks ago the same happened to a friend of mine. I just had to connect a mouse like you did to solve my friend's issue.
That's not the only quirk I found. At least software side. Now I'm thinking of actually doing something else with it. Making it a PC monitor, as it has a monitor port, as well as what it is. A TV. That can easily be done, depending if the video card has a HDMI port on the back, or if I have a spare monitor cable. Yeah. I'll try that. I don't mind experimenting a bit with my stuff. In all honesty, I just felt like rearranging stuff.
