I think wishing either political candidate be assassinated is a foolish and garbage take to have, if only because it is a discomforting measure of destroying democracy. In the case the assassination succeeds, you may have a despot arise as a dictator on the opposing side, while failure can lead to the Darth Sidious effect of reforming a republic into an empire via sympathy of the masses to place a dictator in power. These are only two nightmare scenarios, there are more that can arise from such careless measures.
Martyrdom and Revolution are the two most common results of such blatantly anti-democratic acts, it boggles the mind that this happened to begin with. What is even worse is seeing nitwits on twitter being rancid and wishing they'd hit. I'd be just as appalled if someone took aim at Kamala Harris or Clinton.
I'm generally neutral in the whole American political race, I think both sides are monstrously idiotic and unfit to lead, but its not like they really can do much to fix the systemic rot that has become so far reaching in American society that it really matters, anyway.
I do tend to gravitate a little more towards Trump just because he's not an institutionally brain-dead tool and can think for himself, which is why he is so despised by his political opponents.
But I also recognize it is that very agency which could make him dangerous.
That all aside, I've been thinking mostly about the futures of some of my characters at present, my brain keeps brainstorming little stories.
