I wasn't entirely pleased with how the background cityscape came out for the previous cutscene picture (the a few posts up). I used several GIMP edge filters to give the illusion of outlines and such, and thought it would just look cool and stylized, but I worry about it looking sloppy. So I was going to try a more detailed approach on another cutscene image:

Doing full-screen cutscene images is more challenging than I expected before I started doing them! Definitely adds to your workload on a project.
