I am greatly anticipating this adaptation of a very good webcomic getting a full blown animated series, just LOOK at how gorgeous this is and how wonderful it sounds!

This webcomic was what inspired a lot of PFC, Pep and Nola already existed as part of the cast, but this helped make other characters. Serafine was one of the inspirations for Esperia, Sedgewick Sable was one of the large inspirations for Sped, Ivy helped with growing Nola. Pep is just Rocky in red, I'm not sure how many other contemplatively crazy poetic cats exist in fiction, but this one is just a wild coincidence.
Mordecai Heller was some of the inspiration for Kara Marx, Zib Zakowski was one of the initial inspirations for Sven. Sadly, Elsa Arbogast is much later in the webcomic, and she was one of Svoli's major inspirations. But hey, if you liked PFC and wanted more kooky cats with guns and character building, you can't do much better than LackadaisyCats. I was floored when I discovered it because 'cat with gun' was already an established gimmick of mine and what really threw me is how Rocky and Pep are only a fur color apart from being more or less the same person, down to throwing explosives around like a deranged moron and somehow them being more dangerous to everyone in their general vicinity than themselves.
They also released this sweet and intriguing short about how Ivy (a very precocious child) found out about the true nature of the Lackadaisy Hotel.
