Hey friends, another tool you may be interested in, though this time it's not a free one, sorry.
I'm telling you about it now though because it's currently on a 50% sale and it's worth it for the full price anyway.
Please note that this is a -plugin- which means you need recording software to record with too. You can get LMMS for free and use it in that if you want so there are options. Don't worry about the name, it works on Windows.

This plugin is a top quality noise reducer. What does that mean, you ask? Well, let me show you.

So as you can hear, the first part has a lot of "hiss" and noise from the microphone and the second is squeaky clean.
For those of you into voice acting or who are working on a project where voices are needed this tool may be very, very useful.
Now, there are free alternatives, it's true, but none of them come close to the quality of this one. For example, here's the same clip but processed by th one that comes with REAPER (my audio software):

You can still hear some artefacts in the sound and it gets glitchy at times.
So if you're willing to spend $50 or £32.50 while the sale is on, go for it! I don't regret buying it one bit. :P
