What can I say? I can't seem to get out of a block when I try to draw. I mean, it's like Whenever I prepare to draw something, it either ends up random, or just nothing at all. Who else had problems like this? I'm pretty curious!
Well, when I have problems drawing I take paper and a pencil and doodle while a take a bubble bath... helps me relax and most of my ideas come that way. Also, you can join an art challenge... like 100 themes... 30 characters in 30 days... etc... then you have something to base your ideas on

You shoulda gone to China. You know, 'cause I hear they give away babies like free iPods. You know they pretty much just put them in those t-shirt guns and shoot them out at sporting events.
... And then the Prince Knelt Down and tried to put the Glass Slipper on Cinderella's Foot by Judith Viorst
I really didn't notice that he had a funny nose.
And he certainly looked better dressed up in fancy clothes.
He's not nearly as attractive as he seemed the other night.
So I think I'll just pretend that this glass slipper feels too tight.
The beauty of life is, while we cannot undo what is done,
we can see it, understand it, learn from it and change.
So that every new moment is spent not in regret, guilt, fear or anger,
but in wisdom, understanding and love.

You know, if a mere human was mentally split into three personas like your god he'd be in an insane assylm right?
Women who seek to be equal with men lack ambition.

The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism. (Albert Einstein)
I don't think I have had that exact problem before. However, I found out that unless I have a clear idea of what I want to draw I can not get anything, really. If I try to "just doodle something" I usually end up not liking the results or drawing things I have drawn countless times before, such as random character faces for example. These results often frustrate me and I end up not drawing anything for a while. Which is why I decided not to sit down and draw something unless I really have an idea that I want to draw.
I know this is kind of stupid, because it also means I'm practicing less but I've found out that I'm more pleased with the results I get under these conditions and I seem to improve more that way.
So I suppose it's similar to what you have, but not exactly the same.
Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: "What! You, too? Thought I was the only one." (C.S. Lewis) For the time you're laughing, there's nothing wrong in the world. (Colin Mochrie) If it's funny, make sure people laugh. If it's not funny, make it funny (unless it's actually really serious). (silvercheers)
Please don't spell my name "Yamina-chan". It's all small. Thank you =D
Hmm.... usually when I doodle something, it usually becomes something different than what I planned, I guess it's just my head. I also guess it will go away eventually, right?
I usually sit down to draw something that I'm supposed to draw and end up making doodles of random junk for hours before it finally forces me to draw it. I think its usually a temporary problem. Its the same as a writer having writer's block and making drabbles until the block is cleared.

Can't think of what to draw? I usually draw something ubiquitous such as trees or... something, anything o.o
It usually gets you in the mood for bigger and better things, especially if what you drew in an uninspired mood is usually more inspiring than staring at a blank file/paper with scribbles. Then again, I'm kind of in a "can't get off my ass to do anything mode" myself, sometimes you just need a break too.
Oh my goodness, I get blocked ALL the time. I can be in the middle of a project and suddenly feel lost (although this might just be my own particular brand of weird kicking in here :P).
I find taking a break, doing something else, looking at other's art perhaps, reading, etc. helps stimulate my creativeness. Helps me focus.
I ALWAYS go online and check out better artists at DA (and there are a TON of them, believe me). I love trying to figure out their methods, seeing all the details they've put into their work. I find it makes me strive to be a better artist, too. But I'm competitive by nature. It helps if you need to "win" so to speak; pretend you're in a contest and skill is the prize.
I would never denounce a talented artist but I can't pass up a challenge :P.
