Hey Everyone Jem here. I used to browse this site in the past a lot and now I've decided to join. Before I talk about recruiting I'd like to tell everyone a little about myself. In a sense I'm a jack of all trades, master of none. I have a wide variety of skills from drawing, animation, music composition, video production, story writing, website design, website backend programming, acting, voice acting, story writing, and I'll include roleplaying as well. There are some things I haven't mentioned, either because I forgot about it, or because it has nothing to do with visual novels. I'm not trying to say I'm awesome, because I said I'm not a master of any of these, in-order to make amazing works, it takes me a long time.

So this brings me here! Instead of trying to do it all myself, why not create a team? I have a dream to have a Web based Visual Novel game website. HD images with audio, mini animated cut scenes, save points, achievements, English and Japanese audio and text. All these crazy features to be free to play. I understand that I'll be making an entirely new game engine, but I"m fine with that, programming is a strong point. I'll be calling the engine visual novel x. I think I'll be fun and would love to get it rolling.

So what would our team need?

I've read the rules can they want a section about payment, I am currently finishing up school so I cannot offer anything as of yet, but totally cool with the idea in the future.

If you can't pay anyone (and payment is in no way a requirement here!) you'll need some other way to attract helpers. I'd recommend programming enough of the engine to show off a tech demo. Even if it is just something that shows images and draws text, it will give people confidence in your abilities and will encourage them to join your project.

Me, I'm a 3d artist, not much in the animation department, but can definitely rig a lot of different Genesis characters from Daz or my personal machnima software Iclone.

that's a good idea. I'll get started with a prototype with the basic
i'll pair up with the ui designer so we can have a prettier front end.
