I saw the thread where we wanted to make more use of SP, and I saw there's a sub-forum Traders' Workshop. Then I saw Olivia offering services for SP. So I don't see why I can't request services for SP.

So I'm requesting a Final Boss theme track for a character of mine.

Cool, you can absolutely use SP for that purpose.

Some things you should know about getting music made for your game:
- Don't ask for music early in the development of a game. It should normally be requested after at least half the game is completed and once you can demonstrate your commitment to the project. This is, I would say, even more important if you can't offer actual money because there's nothing worse than working hard on a track for no reward and for it to never see the light of day because the person you made it for gave up on their project.

- Always give more information than that in a request so you don't waste anyone's time. You should definitely include the genre of music because some people do certain genres better than others. For example, I do hard rock/metal as well as vocals and I'm comfortable doing orchestral/soundtrack music, as well as some retro electronica , but I don't do frantic music, dance or jazz.
I've even made my fair share of battle music.

- There are alternatives to getting music made specifically for your game such as licensing pre-existing tracks from someone. I do this all the time, in fact I earned $100 a few days ago when someone bought a commercial license for a couple of tracks of mine.

No worries. You could always update your first post with a few more details to help look for people in the mean time though (genre of music, type of game, impressions/feelings the song needs to give).
