Hello, everyone. It has been a while since I posted on this forum, but my company and I are looking to hire for some rpg maker XP related help. I have been presented the opportunity to demo my game before a live audience with improvised live music scoring. The game is a reworking of a project I had been working on last summer/fall. Payment can range from the $200-$500 range, and is negotiable depending on how many services you can offer & how quickly the job is completed! All resource materials + help will be properly credited in this event.
Recruitment: FANGRAM: REDEMPTION
Job Opportunities (listed in order of priority):
-I need a scripter who can help me utilize various script resources into functional rpg system. This includes scripts for "Animated Battle Backs (DerVVulfman)" "advanced titles 2.0" "animated battlers" "movie before title screen" "summon" etc. (script support sources available for troubleshooting!!)
-Mapper wanted for 4 maps! negotiable pay!
-Event scripter needed.
Project Bio:
Last summer I wrote/scored an rpg titled "Fangram". I did not make it far in synthesizing scripts into streamlined rpg system mechanics, but now that the opportunity has arisen to use my rpg maker xp project as the basis for a live improvised score, I am giving the project a complete makeover and another honest attempt. FANGRAM follows the seemingly fatalistic journey of a mysterious boy, RENZO, who has the capability to summon robotic deities. RENZO & his party soon find themselves in the middle of a surreal military academy controversy that threatens the livelihood of those he learns to care for.
Team:
I have taken on mainly the writing, soundtracking (non live), & overall production of the game alone. I have so far received help in contributions to character art from GoatBoy. My record label, Blacc Ski Weekend LLC, will handle the production & distribution of this project.
What I am looking for:
level design & event scripter + a scripter to assemble the various script resources I would like to utilize in my demo. The scripts call features I would like to have present in FANGRAM, but some are also negotiable. For example, the story of FANGRAM is hinged on a "summons" system, which often triggers dialogue, but I could imagine the "Animated Battle Back" not working with the rest of my visions for this game, and therefore not be included (although it would be nice just to see it!) I am looking for someone who can therefore make quick sense of the scripts provided (or similar alternate systems to achieve the same effects) & can place the gathered media in the right places (i.e. character avatars that appear during dialogue). The maps do not need to be intricate, but a sense for engaging visual aesthetics would be great! (futuristic cityscape, graveyard/dungeon are examples of maps). The detail you put into the project could very well influence the themes the musicians would create live during the game's demonstration. Events would include battles between NPCs, dialogue for each map & boss battle dialogue triggered by "Summon" skill. I am also paying for these jobs to be completed rather quickly, as this is a rush project. Ideally, I would need a playable demo with some semblance of these components (map, events) by MID FEBRUARY. I will need this in order to rehearse for the live demo presentation/performance, which will be in late March in NYC. The demo doesn't have to be coherent in its story & visual language by any means, but should run smoothly. The quicker you can get these tasks done effectively, the more payment you will receive. This work will require a strong correspondence rapport. Currently, the project folder includes several stand-in media files that will be switched out later (for example, title menu screen & game over screen).
Payment:
Payment (paypal only) is negotiable based on how many of the listed jobs you could complete, and how quickly they can be completed. I will likely be looking to move forward with the game's production immediately following the live demonstration, and thus collaborators would be rehired to continue contributions (extra maps, events, interface details, etc).

PM me, bswi13 for questions, further details, or if you just want to see the demo + live score!
I am looking forward to a great game and performance with your help! thank you!
