(March 8 to March 14, 2019)
Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

We had plenty of reasons to celebrate this week, mainly due to the number of birthdays that came and went. First this week were the birthdays of jesse120 and Metalknight, which was later followed by the mass birthday collective belonging to Mang, MandoJetii and Henark. Later on,theneonhearthad enjoyed some icing covered confectionaries. And after that, the birthdays of Crono and ShinyToyGuns came and went. And it wasn't long after that before we got to celebrate the birthdays of Alpha-Mad, fallenravenlyn and Zexion. Cake being shared was fine, but it's fun when you can open presents together and that is exactly what finalholylight, albertcprice and Sicand had done. And before the week was up, the birthdays of BigHa and Tumen had come and gone.
General Chat
Sometimes you need to rant or let off a little steam, so the powerhouse thread that asks its members just What's on your Mind continues as kyonides points out the stuidity of Costa Rican bureaucrats. After that, stupidity in journalistm hit as kyonides talked about an armed bank robbery, and how a reporter revealed the name of an eye-witness who was supposed to be anonymous. But it wasn't the one robbery he mentioned, though one would-be crook ended up getting hit by an Alfa-Romeo. Even with all this, kyonide had time to add new material to his stories, 'Looking for a Save Point' and 'Some Unknown Gamer's Nightmare'.
If you want a good laugh, you can always ask your fellow members the question of "What are YouTubing?" DerVVulfman found a new govenment agent that doesn't hesitate to leap into danger. Bounty Hunter Lani found out that one of her favorite youtubers not only discovered ASMR, but found it quite easy to mock and destroy it. And just when you thought Roland Emmerich's 1994 movie was a mere sci-fi flight of fancy, kyonides found a video that suggest that Stargates do exist around the world.
Perhaps now a budding archaeologist, kyonides has begun a thread about Ancient Cities and his first endeavor is the land of Tarsis. Many theories abound such as it being an ancient name for England, or merely a name for a land known as a treasure trove of metal ores. But most seem to agree that is is an island or costal area at least.

Games Development
Upcoming Projects
KDC continues his quest to find a suitable engine for his game, Fighting Festivalis. And as of now, he's begun testing out Amazon's own system, Lumberyard.
Material Development
Resources Database
Following a discussion within the forum's Art and Design board, Vickarius released a Dragon Resource based on one from the RPGMaker XP RTP. Unlike the original, this one is longer and walks upon all fours, and Vickarius made mention of other colors possible.
Creativity Section
Art and Design
Vickarius began work upon a Dragon characterset modeled after one from the RPGMaker XP RTP. And after asking for opinions, there was some back and forth discussion between he and DerVVulfman.
Literature Section
Things are speeding up in the newest chapter of The Last Words by Vickarius. One may be curious about the cause of the footrace between the hooded figure and the fireball lobbing mage, and whether it is by fear or the thrill of the chase that is felt. Who are the two now running full steam in 'The Fast Words.?
The third installment of Some Unknown Gamer's Nightmare by kyonides now finds our hapless hero wandering with the hopeless Aluxes, only to find his personal space intruded. A flight of fancy as a new character flies in, similarities in name and online appearance easly recognizable. So now three's a crowd in this Gamer's quest to get back home.

Well, that's it for this week.
