Her Hypnotic Gaze

Everybody acting gangsta until she hits you with that emerald stare. This is a crop of an Anathema artwork I did. It is a crop because I would be breaching the lewd-lowdowns laws of 2007 by posting it uncropped. As it is its entering the risque department because of the reasons why.

Ending in Purple

Imperians are certainly bizarre creatures. Boasting over twenty hearts that can disconnect and auto-shutdown if injured to keep the others free of infection and harm, and several other bizarre evolutionary necessities for a civilization that was bound by bloodlust, barbarism and butchery. Xali is the sole survivor of that species after The First Guardian found them so deplorable she enacted a genocide and Xali was the only one smart enough to not try and fight a God.

This sketch depicts a scene from the game Fantasia where Xali and Svoli are having a big showdown.

In 'guise of benevolence, she shrives clean hearts of the wishful yet insecure, robbing them of their dreams and devours their desire-- leaving them naught but wilted husks which know neither sentience nor sapience. There are few creatures so terrifying.

O' divine beings, why hath thee forsaken us to be among the victims of this monstrous fae?

Happy Pride Month, I did actually get this art done before it ended, but the video is another story due to complications on youtube's end.

So I hear you asking... Remi, why are you drawing this obscure as fuck OC which
1. isn't in any of your games (yet) and
2. looks like Fyori went through her hippy phase. (It's funny because earlier versions of Fyori did have a similar dress before she got her pink-purple and veridian green aesthetic she'd had since.)

My answer? It's fucking pride month dude (or was when I drew it, Youtube takes ages to render out the live streams in a way I can download them), so of course I'm gonna draw the only character in my games with an aesthetic and lore based entirely around rainbows. Tatanya is also generally more into females. In regards to game, she will 'encounter' Fyori in Flight, but uh... it doesn't go down great for either of them. Fyori is a magic creature, and Tatanya likes to eat magic.

Yes, I could have drawn say Grace and Nankaina since that ship is basically canon and Nankaina's icon is literally the lesbianism symbol, but hear me out! The reason I didn't go through with that very fun idea is because...

I just honestly didn't fucking think of it?? Lmaoooo! It is only in hindsight that such clarity has been given. I also happened to have done this sketch of Tatanya a while ago and intended to make it into a full blown render at some point anyway!

Yes, there's the low-hanging easy fruit of Esperia and Fyori, but I already did that for valentines month.

The drawing in total took 8 Hours. Half an hour on the pencil sketch I used as the basic guide, then 7 and a half hours that you see in the speed draw below.

I really am pleased with how it came out, I was worried the color was going to be too stimulating and over the top, but I clutched it with my years of practicing color theory and fixing that vehemently bleedy yellow-green that was on her dress initially.

The Evil God

Mortal ambition is the most destructive force in the cosmos. Time and time again, mortalkind's quest for more and their entitled arrogation- has lead to more damage than they have ever been worth. It's the same predictable pattern, a metronomic heartbeat of the cosmic failing that is their existence.

While it wouldn't be even close to impossible to wipe them out, it wouldn't solve the problem and would only create many more. The problem is ambition, what they call hope. Hope is their trump card. I have seen them come back from the brink with it as their only catalyst. It is a truly frightening power, but like all powers-- it is not invincible.

Why merely kill the hopeful when I can erase hope itself? Their insatiable desire for more, it is a padded room without an exit. I will ensure they lie complacent as the filth they are.

Weaponize against the real enemy of the cosmos their greatest strength, and watch them crumble. Kill all of mortalkind? No, that would be too merciful. They will burn in a hopeless nexus of torture forevermore, that is the very essence of their downfall. No Peace. No End. Eternal suffering is the only gift they will be given.

The Last Imperian

Violence, Adrenaline, Bloodshed. They are all I have ever known. I had no name, I was just another born and bred killer, trained to fight by a society where only the strong survive. Empathy a lost cause, goodwill a joke- an ephemereal fantasy no one would entertain. My kind lived for violence, yet something in me reviled them.

They had... no vision! Cruel like me, but incapable of making anything more of it. Just partaking in a localized grand everlasting homicide of their own making. They'd not be remembered, erased from history with no trace... This was the goal of the Insidious Architect who fairly reviled our species.

But her goals, like her-- ended in failure. Unlike my foolish brethren who united in violent cause to try and take on a fish far bigger than them, I spirited myself away and crash landed on a world alien to me.

A world I fully intended to make reel, but not through just sheer acts of violence... no. How would that be any better than what my now erased kinsmen attempted? I didn't seek to break its body alone, but its spirit as well.

These... "heroes" are so hypocritical. They call foul when others kill but act self-righteous when they do so themselves. Merely killing them will make them into martyrs, so I will break them fully. Mind, body and spirit all~!

I will become that which they actively seek, a real villain that will gladly and sadistically show them the floor. Again and again, they will be made to kneel. I will herald a grand calamity they will fail to stop- and in that final round, it shall be them who fall!

The Taloned Violator

My peers of old never did approve of violence. I was an outcast, exiled by them out of fear and moral outrage. I truly thought myself alone in a world too nice to tell me my soul was violent. I had begun to believe my path was one I would walk alone, butcherous, stained and brutal-- to the very end.

Then came Xaela... the one they call the defiler. She unlike any who had approached me before, respected and valued my love of violence, my willingness to live and die by the claw. She told me of her experiences, and how mortalkind uses the ides of civility of good and evil to appear righteous while being no less despicable. She told me that we could be more that we didn't need to hide. For in that brutal unfiltered violence is raw passion, an expression of hatred and sadism, no less so than how the goody-two-shoes express their love and empathy with kind and genuine acts of goodwill.

I returned to my village, they looked at me in horror. Unlike when I was first exiled, I no longer had any shame or guilt about what I was. I was older, and I was ready to show them just how much I'd grown.

They knew me by a different name, one that my parents had chosen. But now? I am Xeltara: The Unholy Butcher, and the only people who knew my old name have been buried along with it!

I see them for what they are. Tiny soldiers in tin plate, a fragile cosmos boasting an army of expendable peons whose only real purpose is to bolster those among us who see through the indoctrination that they feed themselves like comforting lies.

They can call forth all the aid they desire... Star Angels, Demon Lords, Administrators. Bring it all, little mice! Like with the XII Tragedy, none of it will make a difference. We will crush your hopes, trample your dreams and run you through the grinder of hopelessness. A Nuclear Nightmare with no end or pause. A radioactive crackling that sends the unpleasant spectre of doom through your souls as I devour you one by one~

It is soon you will learn of my thousand cruelties, and I will take much pleasure in educating you on the matter!

The Scarlet Rager

Rage is so much more of a dangerous thing than most can comprehend. It is a primordial catalyst of change. My mistress and handler knows it best. Her rage has made the heavens tremble, the hells sink, the proud fall and the noble falter.

If only any could understand that rage as I do. Don't be fooled by her calm, her rage may not control her, but it is very much a part of her. If she were ever to release a large portion of her rage, the cosmos would never be the same. The world you know, the cultures you've seen- would forever change.

Rage is an infection, and I am here to kill the means of quarantine.

Similar to Thewi, this is a representative of a Plane. While Thewi is a representative of Plane VII: Administration, Kcab'L is a representative of Plane V: Labyrinth. She has taken an interest in the maladaptations caused by Xalatath's bizarre intrusion, and admits responsibility for the potentiality of the event occuring, but states it was never her intention.

Yes, this is still censored. I would be breaking the forum rules to reveal aught more than this. This is the closest thing to a HD Render I've done since Yasondre above.
