Probably won't turn into a full blown render. It's the same kinda pose as Xaela, I already did an amazing piece of Tiramisa this year and I've got so many other pieces I really want to do.

The fourth of the month. I did it a while back but held off on posting it until this time, which is how you do it-- because of the reasons why!

Tiramisa is such a dramatic character, she's been through a lot. Most of it discovered via recollections in PFC (Perseverance Full Clearance) and tidbits she reveals throughout Fantasia. Her past with Xaela, her devil-gene Xaramitsi and the many tragedies that drove her to seek out solace in her independance and protect her only child by way of handing him over to someone she could trust.

She's about 90 years old, she still looks as good as she does due to her gaining the devil-gene at age 23, which more or less halts aging. This was not much of a blessing though, as Xaramitsi made her life a living hell.

Tiramisa keeps most of her dispositions to herself, but she's been shown to utterly despise Esperia and even Xaramitsi to a degree despite how she seems to sometimes enjoy her company.

Despite everything, she's one of the only Cookiedoe's left alive- and despite all her trauma, finds comfort in the few joys she does get to experience, and the family she has around her remind her of what is truly important.

This piece was a joy from start to finish. From the initial sketch which was about 13 minutes of work. The remainder of the time in paint Tool SAI and photoshop CS6 that the timelapse below shows ends up as about eight hours and 17 minutes. Eight hours and a half in total, basically!

I didn't record the sketch, as I was at an art workshop, so no ability to do so! It was just a rough sketch and my friend encouraged me to finish it. I decided that yeah- I feel like I could do even more art this month, and full glad am I that I did.

THE BLACK-WHITE OCUMANCER

She just showed up one day claiming to be a Panamaru, another of M.F. Lazarus splicing experiments. But only a fool buys into her guise.

From the Seventh she hails, and under the Queen in White does she serve, a secretary to supremacy-- versed in the wiles of Salem's White and the thaumaturgy of Niro's Black. Her name anagramous of her mistress.

Calm and collected, wise beyond comprehension. She teaches a pupil known as the Seventh Divide. In her possession; a veritable hoard of wisdom to share, and possibly an even greater hoard never to. A poet amiss pencil, wisdom without whim.

Last time I drew this character I got her proportions all wrong. This time I have corrected that! I have also created a bunch of alternate versions for your perusal, as I made her design fairly modular.

But I get ahead of myself. For this week I have done quite some few sketches, or rather, i neglected to share them the past couple of weeks because of the priority the full blown renders required.

First off, let's start with some pencil concepts I did for the Starship Entropy, Xaela's personal flagship.

The Starship Entropy Concepts

I have decided i will go with the second one, the design is a lot less bloated and makes more sense with how lightfolding works in my games. it also looks for less chunky and unwieldy the first and has a landing gear despite my notes. I realized after that the thrusters could let it stand on a flat surface so long as it tucked in its dorsal fin that extends from the command tower. it might even be able to use the dorsal fin as an anchor, like stabbing a tentpeg into the earth. Just a much more practical design. you can see the Lesser Eldritch Ring Cutters in The Evil God artwork on the page prior.

The First 36 Seconds
In the far future I have a 12 minute mini-movie planned to promote THE FINAL ROUND and it quite likely will be used at the end of Seraphim as well, most likely as a secret ending.

Seconds 0:01-6:00

Panning in from space down unto the Starship Entropy and cross-sectioning into the command tower, we pan down to see Xali gliding across the floor towards a pre-occupied Xaela.

Seconds 6:01-18:00

Xaela of course, would already know of Xali's presence long before she even got close. Her eyes do not function like a mortals, it might be farer to say they are closer to props, her real eyes aren't bodily organs at all, but a divine microplasm with the ability to see all around her in full 360 view, and sense entities behind walls and feel to a degree the intent of what she "sees". In this case, nothing is malign, Xali is merely excited and curious, for today is quite a special day! Xali asks simpyl what Xaela's up to.

Seconds 18:01-27:00

Amused by Xali's and happy to indulge her comrade, she informs Xali that she is preparing the collision cascade of events, to be narrowly executed through time and space. In only 10 minutes, all of their hard work will have paid off. Xali asks how long it is until she may enter into her task.

Seconds 27:01-36:00

As she goes to press a button on a holographic interface, she says only 'two'.

Minutes are implied, but there's another layer to Xaela's unusual cryptomancy. She also insists Xali pairs up with Astaroth on her task, as they need the key and, while Astaroth can easily handle making the key do as is desired, kidnapping said key will likely require Xali's help. Xali nods happily, and sits down over on the console nearby, jigging her legs.

I drew this as basically a page-by-page storyboard. I've had this music looping in my head and this cutscene play out in result, so I wanted to start penning it down. More concrete details will have to wait. it is a long way off before actual work will begin on anything of it.

The Ukemochi

Koko Spiral will become Ukemochi, which is basically the next level of the Aspect of Life, replacing her retired mother, this is a concept based on a much earlier concept I asked of RiseDemos with some minor changes.

Tristy Heals Character Sheet

The Trustworthy Heroine is one of the potential art pieces of November, more info as I get closer to this piece, she will not be my first pick, I have other plans.

The Final Lesson

There was always a plan to draw a celebratory art that could be shown temporarily after completing a major icon-oriented optional event storyline. This one would be the end of Tiramisa's optional event chain, culminating in her treating the Angels of Hope, Xaramitsi and herself to a feast at Slurpies' Foodcourt on Postmartia. This is even indicated via in-game dialogue.

The background will have to be altered to fit the dimensions, but this was a good starting draft, however the sheer complexity of the background will mean I either hold off on it for a bit or let an artist other than myself handle it.

How to win over administration.

A comic I made reflecting a scene in Disk 3 I liked the script of so much I've not only done a full blown audio-recording of it, but as now seen- started drawing comics too. This is a very small part of the whole.

That's finally it, yes- all done in September, easily my most productive art month in years!
