EDITION. . . . . . . . .

Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
While it is true that Pie is Fly, you just have to love a good slice of Birthday cake and this week there was plenty of cake going around. This week started off as Dr. Schnellinger had some cake along with Boot, logic013 and Ventil4tor. Later on, BlackDragon 31 had a slice of cake. After that, the duo of Megalukes and Mary674 had a shared birthday. And the birthdays of MoonBeamDust and Bloodrose came at the end of the week.

General Chat
For those having issues with graphic card updates, you wouldn't be alone if you wondered What's on the mind of fellow member KDC. The last NVideo game ready driver slowed his PC to a crawl. Now on the culinary side, kyonides noted his preference in Horchata, a sweet rice-based beverage which can use milk or water as a base liquid for the drink.

Are humans the smartest life forms on the planet, if you ask DerVVulfman What are YouTubing, the video he would impart would show that some felines have more sense.

Many events have occurred which made the News of the World, whether it be the recent Coup in Sudan and the following release of the former Prime Minister appearing as house arrest. Students in Virginia walked out of school in protest when a school rapist admitted his guilt just before Former President Obama, in a speech that angered many, stated that parents grievances and accusations of rape were false stories. More witnesses in the Durham probe have now been called, one to testify against the Clinton Lawyer accused of presenting false data to the FBI against then-candidate Donald Trump. And the Pentagon has now provided information contradicting Biden's State Department annoucing over four-hundred Americans being trapped in Afghanistan. The ash fall from the La Palma continues as its volcano has continued to erupt for six straight weeks. And solar flares befor Halloween and a train-vs-train collision hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
Things look very bad for Facebook if you pay attention to the News of the Cyber World with the recent statements from Whistleblower Frances Haugen in Britain's Parliament and the more recent statements from a second whistleblower claiming Facebook had a financial bias when dealing with hate speech. And Mark Zuckerberg's announcement of the company's name change to Meta has many critics believe that the company wishes to divert the public's attention. Meanwhile, a 10-month investigation brought down “Dark HunTor,” the dark Web's Largest Illegal market, arresting roughly 150 suspected drug vendors and buyers. And a Russian-speaking hacker group named Grief, claimed it hacked the National Rifle Association, releasing 13 documents allegedly belonging to the organization, and demanding an extortion fee lest the rest be unveiled. However, the hacker group is connected to another group sanctioned by the US, and paying the ransom could bring about criminal charges.

Forum Games & Nonsense
DerVVulfman found yet one more story of pen and paper adventures of a sort as the original author found someone who appeared Pretty High And Mighty For Someone Who Works In A Dungeon. So be wary of criticism of races, even if those races are fictional.

Development Discussion
It is the perfect time to see a spooky skeleton in combat if you wondered What's Up with RMers like Remi-chan. Be ready for a light spectacle as Lilac takes on a man who doesn't throw her a bone. Following this, Remi-chan presented a cutscene showing one of the heroines waking up.

Upcoming Projects
Are you ready to mix some potions? Perhaps not, but you may learn your trade within Mike_Everley's game, Apprentice Alchemist, made for RPGMaker VXAce. Still in the beta version, the game focuses on you to learn your skills while the Master Alchemist has left. Not so much in dialog, the content solely relies on the player's own ingenuity in exploration, acquiring treasure, defeating foes and learning the skills to achieve their desired rank.

This week,Ti-Max came by to announce that an update to the first act of Creas has been released. And along with that, a 10% discount during the Halloween 2021 sale at Steam and Itch. For more news, you may even wish to join the official Creas discord with the link he provided.

Material Development
Event Systems Database
Rather than using magical concoctions, Mike_Everley supplied an event-system demo depicting a Real Medieval Herbalist. Made for RPGMaker VXAce, the system adds a more realistic view of the medical arts from way back.

Resources Database
There is a Massive Library of Free Images for Everyone thanks to Eric Matyas, now updating his portfolio of tilesets and textures once again. This week, you have organic and ground textures to please the eye. And after that, he provided a link where one can access his cool learning videos. Feel free to peruse as DerVVulfman noted that the recent gravel and overgrowth artwork appeared outstanding.

Creativity Section
Art and Design
When you enter Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing!, you will see her latest illustration. One of her heroines waking up, rays of sunlight slipping through her window drapes.

Well, that's it for this week.
