(November 1 to November 7, 2021)

Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
There were a few birthdays we got to celebrate this week, starting withthenix's, deus69xxx's and ScorpioTHK's. And it wasn't long after that before we got to celebrate the birthdays for Nightmar, flynnmichael81 and krum110487. After that, the birthdays of Zackwell, PepperTrooper and GuildPin came and went. And after those,LilEvil3000, Nyakuya and Pandappuccino shared a birthday to celebrate. And the end of the week, Benji-Ninja had a birthday cake to himself.

General Chat
After all of its recent bad publicity, it's expected that Facebook would still make the News of the World. But this time, it is being aggressive towards the Nicaraguan government, claiming it has made hundreds of phony accounts to influence their elections. Jon Bon Jovi, rocker who brought the 80's album "Slippery When Wet", had to cancel his Holloween Concert an Miami Beach after testing positive for Covid-19. In the wake of the fatal shooting on-set, Alec Baldwin is quite serious in limiting the use of firearms on film sets. This while the Santa Fe's Sheriff's Office still has the shooting under investigation. Meanwhile, things have heated up in El Salvador as audio recordings reveal that Roy García, a diplomatic representative of Joe Biden's Administration attempted to buy out two congressmen of the coalition that maintains the absolute majority in the Legislative Assembly. Since then, the Biden Administration denies all culpability. And tensions rise in Iraq after a drone attack, nearly killing their Prime Minister at his residence following last month’s parliamentary elections, elections where the Iran-backed militias were the losing party.

Tech Talk
Can anyone stop ransomware from headlining the News of the Cyber World? Perhaps not as a ransomware attack was made upon the Toronto transit system, knocking some systems offline. This was mere days after a similar attack was made against a Michigan transport agency. Meanwhile, Zuckerberg's plans for a 'meta'-verse is being criticized as forming a larger and more expansive realm akin to Facebook, with all the baggage.

Forum Games & Nonsense
Another week passed, and DerVVulfman posted another Dungeons and Dragons story entitled, Murder Is Just A Game To Them. Within, things certainly were not as how they appeared or sounded.

Development Discussion
When you're part of a community, you may feel like sharing your endeavors with others. So here at Save-Point we have no problem with anyone shouting What's up RMers? and telling us what they are up to. After some time, DerVVulfman is back to working on code, and has two requests already to fulfill. Meanwhile, kyonides has gripes against his government limiting the time he spends online, and beer. Meanwhile, he has thoughts of a plot merging some personalities with default RPGMaker stock characters for a joke.

Material Development
Event Systems Database
Following his herbalist event system, Mike_Everley released his Real Medieval Armoury For RPG Maker Ace. Within, you will find a book which allows you to see what was worn to protect medieval troops based upon their class in society.

Resources Database
For artists of all types, be they digital painters or pixelset tileset artists, remembre that Eric Matyas is Building a Massive Library of Free Images for Everyone. He appreciated DerVVulfman's comments about last week's work on Gravel, and provided new tileable metal and stone textures. And remember that he is up for making custom assets on request.

Creativity Section
Music and Audio
If you are interested in entertaining sci-fi tunes of a comical bent, remember that Eric Matyas is Sharing His Original Music. New music can be found on his Sci-Fi page, and some loops on his Sci-Fi Ambience page.

Literature Section
This week,Mike_Everley posted Two Poems; the first deliving a feeling of lonely remorse while the second nature's beauty amidst a wartorn land.

Well, that's it for this week.
