(April 18 to April 24, 2022)

Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
If you thought a prankster came into the forum, you would be correct. This week JayRay came back to say Hi while working on a few projects using Smile Game Builder.

This week, a number of birthdays were celebrated, starting with the birthdays of Strikenz, shaje and dracoceros. Later, ThisGuyErik had a cake to enjoy. In the meantime, both wethefallen and Terra420 shared the same birthday and shared their own icing covered slabs. This was later followed by a birthday belonging to Rockwood. After that, CeryliaRectris, Lyndis and Vlakvarkie all had a group birthday cake to enjoy. And this Saturday, Noel Kreiss had a birthday to celebrate.

General Chat
A bit of celebrity confusion was on the mind? when kyonides turned on a bit of online news and encountered a reporter with a nearly all-too-similar name.

It has been two months since it has begun, and the Russian Invasion of Ukraine still appears within the News of the World, this time with new of Russia getting weapons for their depleted army from Iran and that a hold up on weapons from Germany can be tied to Switzerland as the neutral nation did before with Poland's intended aid to Ukraine. A non-profit investigation group discovered documents showing that the Wuhan lab in China had a legal agreement to force a U.S. Lab to wipe all data regarding all research. And if you think that's all the news posted this week, you might wish to look twice.

Development Discussion
If you're curious What's up with some RMers, DerVVulfman is continuing work on making an army-vs-army type window for a tactical system, now having the armies appearing in two rows now, and with animation possible based on the attacker's actions.

Material Development
For those who want a new spin on game development, JayRap posted a thread for Smile Game Builder. A different RPGMaking engine, it allows 3D rotation and allows you to import all your own resources and develop games with no coding required.

If looking for natural textures for your game's environment, remember to check out the Massive Library of Free Images that Eric Matyas has been laboring upon. New stone textures with raised relief work, moss-covered land, and blackened iron, craggy and uneven are now available to be seen and used.

Music and Audio
The drums of war may continue to beat for those who appreciate how Eric Matyas continues to Share his Original Music. Happy that is is that many are now using his Ogg music packs, he released another pack this week and composed a new work for those with a love of naval adventures.

Well, that's it for this week.
