(August 15 to August 21, 2022)

Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
This week, we had a few birthdays to celebrate. Our first round let us celebrate the birthdays of lilcooldude69 and HRA, followed by the collective birthdays of Anski. Then Ace, Launian, chameleon1333 and EYELESS enjoyed birthday cake a plenty. Cake being shared was fine, but it's fun when you can open presents together and that is exactly what DariusSlayer and Mappelond had done. It didn't take long before Dreadzly had their time for sweet confectionary goodness. And the last bit of cake this week was enjoyed bylorddonk.

General Chat
Problems have been raining down upon kyondes if you asked him What's on your mind? His most recent turmoil is that of a missing credit card.

For some time, he has avoided attempts on his life. But recently, the stabbing attempt and would-be assassin of Salman Rushdie hit this week's News of the World. Meanwhile, the FBI revealed documents that Ray Epps, a man who was on the FBI watch list and caught on camera 'directing protesters to go into the Capitol', that explosives were at the Capitol on January 6.

Forum Games & Nonsense
If you are playing a pen and paper roleplay game, you should NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING, especially when you're the newbie of the group and think the regular members know better. Another tale discovered by DerVVulfman, it serves as a humorous warning to all playing Dungeons and Dragons ald like games.

Games Development
Development Discussion
Remember that you to can share What's Up with your fellow RMers and tell everyone what you are working upon. For that is what Remi-chan did this week as she showed off some more video content of her gaming project, and illustrations of a character both fair to the eyes yet foul in nature.

Material Development
Resources Database
If you are inspired to make large stonework castles, the heavy marble blockwork within the Massive Library of Graphics by Eric Matyas may be very intriguing. Meanwhile, you may find some blackened metal with a rough griny feature to be of some interest.

Creativity Section
Music and Audio
If you're venturing to the Original Music Sounds by Eric Matyas, perhaps you'd wish to check the Tunnels under Metropolise. That, in itself, is the title to his latest work. Meanwhile, please don't forget he as a variety of high-quality Ogg music packs.

Well, that's it for this week.

"(Referring to the piano's natural shape) Isn't it a shame when those big fat opera singers lean against the pianos and bend them?" - Victor Borge (1909-2000)

If you are the creator of a thread in Save-Point, you have the option of sending/writing your own entry into the Gazette. The Gazette accepts write-in announcements (which will be doublechecked). Likewise, the Gazette would welcome other content such as a comic-strip series, ongoing story arc, or the like.

Just PM DerVVulfman with the submissions. Submissions must be in by 10pm EST.
Up is down, left is right and sideways is straight ahead. - Cord "Circle of Iron", 1978 (written by Bruce Lee and James Coburn... really...)
