(August 29 to September 4, 2022)

Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
Occasions
This week, we had plenty of reasons to celebrate, mainly due to the number of birthdays that came every day. First this week, we had birthdays for Zeriab and Juan J. Sánchez which alerted bakeries to begin stocking up on their supplies. For those fortunate enough to plan ahead, cakes a plenty were made for MechanicalPen and Ghorba one day, and DarkSpartan, Erik Tiber and Jarbeat the next. Cake production realized it needed to go full steam after the birthday of emilywake when both cyrodilicbrandy and Minkoff had cakes the very next day. And before the need to replace their ovens, the birthdays of fantoski, DevAesthetic, Qeo and DraconisArcanum came and went without a cake crumb to spare.

General Chat
If you were wondering What's on the mind of people nowadays, you would not be alone. For this week, kyonides thinks people have recently starte acting a little off.

Things look dour for the US Biden Administration as this week's News of the World reveals one lawsuit revealing that the Biden Administration and Social Media have been working together to silence opposing content, and a judge refusing to dismiss a case against Biden's border policy on behalf of environmentalists, reformers and ranchers. The power grid in California cannot sustain itself, so those with Electric Cars were told not to charge them. Revealed too this week it was found that Moderna's studies for their COVID vaccine trials didn't follow good laboratory practices, and various chapters of Black Lives Matter are now suing the BLM global foundation for fraud. Attempted theft of an airplaine for a Walmart Kamikaze run, Iran's attempt to steal a drone ship, yet another 'swatting' attempt against conservatives and much more appeared in this week's news.

Tech Talk
Be wary of some malicious Chrome extensions, this according to McAfee and this week's News of the Cyber World. Elon Musk's SpaceX Starlink seems to be the thing to use for ocean travel. And now Japan's digital minister vows to remove physical storage mediums and have everything cloud-based.

The APT40 Chinese Hacker group, one linked to the China’s Ministry of State Security, has now been found targeting Australian manufactuers and wind turbine and energy operations.

Forum Games & Nonsense
Sometimes, you run across the oddest of players when running a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. And that's exactly what DerVVulfman found when he unearthe d atale where a DM's players felt like BRUSHING OFF MASS MURDER with the oddest ot techniques.

Games Development
Development Discussion
This week, Remi-chan appears in the spotlight if you wondered What's up among our RMers as Kain Nobel praised her work, noted that haters do nothing but hate, and asked for an encore. Well, Remi-chan didn't wish to diisappoint, so an encore she gave with a new viideo. This time, a trailer for the third demo of her game, the video suggesting a December release.

Material Development
Resources Database
For those in need of natural resources, graphics useful in depicting an overhead canopy of leaves or a dark walnut grain appeared this week in the Massive Library of Free Images being shared by Eric Matyas.

Creativity Section
Art and Design
For something of a synthesized grunge beat for your games, remember that Eric Matyas is still Sharing His Original Music and Sound FX, now releasing a piece called "THE GRUNGE MEISTER".

Well, that's it for this week.
