PLUG-INS AND SCRIPT SUB-FORUMS
#1
Dear Members,

The forum has existed over a decade.  And over a decade, we have amassed a large quantity of software code for a number of different game editors.  As a result, I have received a number of requests for the software to be separated by these same said game editors. This would be understandable, not wishing to wade through a plethora of code not related to your game engine of choice to find that one you seek.

As such, both the recent Plugins and Mods board and the classic Scripts Database board have now been updated with more sub-forums.  Each sub-forum is related to its own game engine.  The only engines that currently share the same subforums are the RPGMaker MV/MZ engines and the RPGMaker VX/VXAce engines due to striking similarities between the two.  However, that may change in time.

There are a fair number of topics for Ruby-scripted software packages covering multiple engines. It is hopeful that the authors of these packages will re-introduce new topics to branch and separate their works. It is possible to be done by staff, but voluntary changes by the original authors is much more preferred. And separation between VX and VXAce and between MV and MZ is recommended for possible future advances.

It is with great pride to announce that nearly all scripts and plugins are now within their respective gaming engine sub-forums. And of the Script Topics that have not been split, those that cover multiple engines, they do not account for even 10% of the library size.
