China has launched a furious war-of-words over a letter by German magazine Bild editor accusing China of being the cause of the Covid-19 outbreak and demanding massive reparations. 
Meanwhile, the French foreign ministry has summoned the Chinese ambassador to France over an article that “slanders” staff of French nursing homes.

And they still complain about those justified claims?
When did the bat viruses in the Wuhan lab disappear?
After they were unable to contain them and it freely spread in the surroundings of their beloved but rubbish wet market!?

Scientists have discovered a microbe that completely protects mosquitoes from being infected with malaria.
The team in Kenya and the UK say the finding has "enormous potential" to control the disease.

This sounds quite promising indeed. Costa Rica and pretty much all of Latin America would really appreciate it if they shared their knowledge and equipment with the region.
