Introduction
You may have noticed my piece in the weekly gazette some weeks ago and because of the positive feedback, I decided to keep it going and try to interview new people every once in a while.

Do you want to be interviewed yourself then don't hesitate to contact me by a pm or a post here or get hold of me in the irc.
My interviews usually go through a private channel in the irc, though if you prefer a different way of communication do not hesitate to ask.

Some information about the interviews themselves:
-Every interview gets a rewrite to make it suitable for gazette publication, but it will never get published without permittance of the interviewer and interviewee.
-The interviews will deal with the fields of game development and save-point and how you are involved in all this. This means upcoming projects, developing skills and so on.
- I cannot guarantee your interview will get published the week after the interview itself if not at all and cannot be held responsible.

Why this thread? I wanted a way for people to comment about the interviews in a general way as well as a way for them to apply for an interview.
I'll also try to put up links to the latest interviews along with the name of the interviewed person.

As people probably noticed, I haven't done interviews for a while. Mainly this is due to a busier working schedule.
I won't actively ask people to do interviews anymore, but they can still ask me for one through pm or irc.
There might still be interviews for special occasions or project promotions, I've been thinking about some things there, you may hear from these in the future.
New gazette projects are obviously always welcome so I'll keep searching for ways to help Derv fill his gazette.

Good idea for a thread. So how often do you expect to do interviews? You said 'every once in a while' but wouldn't it be better to set up some kind of schedule? For example, every other week or something like that.

Good question, I was hoping to schedule an interview every other week yes, but of course that depends on the amount of people I can get hold of.

With this I also want to add that a gazette interview is a great way to promote yourself or your project. It's the perfect means of getting in the spotlights because practically everyone on this forum reads the gazette.

I also have some ideas for the future of the gazette interviews such as interviews with sp staff about their work here or about upcoming events. And holiday specials and stuff...but no information about that yet Winking

Still need an interview for the upcoming gazette! Either someone else take the chance or I run into Mercury on the irc fast :p
