Announcements and Updates
DerVVulfman is still adding tutorials to the The new HBGames Archive Board, but finding a large number that used image gallery and file sharing sites that no longer exist. In some cases, content itself was pulled by the poster. And in a few cases, he saw that some individuals posted the same tutorial two, three or even four times in a row for no apparent reason. Still, he states he is now halfway through the tutorials.

General Chat
This week, the News of the World was stunned by the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist who was at a Utah university answering questions following his speech. The killer, Tyler Robinson, used a bolt action rifle with shells etched with hateful messages. Following, Russia launched a new series of strikes against Ukraine, blaiming both Democrats and Ukraine supporters for the violence in the US. As to Russia and its war with Ukraine, it has not backed down, now exiting the truce against torture, and repeatedly violating NATO airspace. Poland called for an article 4 hearing, the result being a build up of defenses along the border entitled "Eastern Sentry". Russia scoffs at this and claims it a ploy to pressure US President Trump to end his goal for a peace deal. But while Trump calls for more sanctions to cripple Russia's economy and target India and China for their support, US B-2 stealth bombers slipped in with a weapons drop test right at Russia's doorstep. Israel's work to eliminate Hamas took a downturn this week as they struck an apartment complex in Doha, Qatar in an attempt to kill the Hamas's leadership that has been in Qatar all this time. The attack was in responce to the murder of six at at Jerusalem bus stop just before. China is continuing to make claims of territories and lands owned by other nations, now escalating tensions and laying claim to waters in the Philippines. And just after Iran signed a deal with the IAEA for regular inspections, backtracked and issued further warnings. Greta Thuberg's Gaza Flotilla fire caused by an activist and not a drone as claimed, the killer of a Ukrainian Refugee in the US out on cashless bail despite his long criminal history, France's recent collapse and struggle for a fourth prime minister in the past 12 months, the UK firing its ambassador to the UK amidst recent Epstein revalations, MSNBC fires another anchor over insensitve remarks of the Charlie Kirk assassination, Ex-White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre 'prepped' with answers over Biden decline by staff, so-named 'New California' wishes to break away from Democrat control to form 51st US state, and more hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
The threat of Chinese Hackers continues as Salt Typhoon has been running a years-long campaign to steal intellectual property, revealing now that its assault on worldwide telecommunications have given it access to nearly every citizen in 80 countries. And why not? For it also came out that China indeed hacked the UK's election system and stole the information of 40 million voters. Their vain attempt to cover it up was revealed when the FBI discovered that China was sending fake eMails to staffers within the US House of Representatives, eMails fraudulently claiming to be from the House Chairman over Chinese Strategy itself.

Security threats were the main focal-point within the News of the Cyber World as Microsoft Edge ranked as the worst browser for privacy, the two-factor authorization in many android phones is still in danger and has been since 2014, and modern RAM chips are in serious danger of Rowhammer attacks. Meanwhile, if you want to turn your iPhone into a DROID, there's a patch for you.

Development Discussion
When looking to see What's up among our RMers, you'll find that Remi-chan is finally getting out of her funk and back into working on her game, recoding all her previous material. But more than that happened as she received new spritesork from Rune (or Xiie), and elf portraits from Pjcr.

Upcoming Projects
KDC has been busy, and wished to show off the evented title screen he created for Memorie. He felt he had some lag issue with how it operated, but received some guidance from kyonides.

Tutorials
This week, kyonides noted a few of Ruby's Peculiarities, things he considers strange or unusual when he compares them to other object-orientated languages. But it is merely a light read, not meant to go deep into the underlying mechanics of the language.

Material Development
Scripts Database
RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
For those that think that having to condemn a party member to death is a harsh thing with the KursedVictory script by kyonides, be aware that he released two new updates. The first allows one to refuse the option which would lead into a second battle. And the second update grants one the opportunity to deliver a visual reaction before the second battle begins.

Last week, kyonides revealed the Kuick Leader Swap XP script which actively changes the party layout with the press of a button. But this week, he added two new features; the first being a switch to disable player control over the party cycling feature and the second the option to randomly decide the party leader from the group.

RPGMaker VX/VXAce (RGSS2/3) Engines
For those that think that having to condemn a party member to death is a harsh thing with the KursedVictory script by kyonides, be aware that he released an update. The latest version allows one to refuse the option to slay one of their own, but only at the cost of entering a second battle for their lives.

A strange bug appeared within the Command Color script that kyonides had for RPGMaker VXAce, a bug caused by how the command window updates the contents.

For those that are familiar the MGC's First Person Labyrinth Engine, 5Brainplay has been dabbling with scripting and released a few FPLE ACE Addon/Enhancements. Because he is using Claude.AI to assist in his labors, he notes at the top of the thread that there is AI assistance and coding present. However, you may find upgraded third-person player sprite options, tile swapping options and more.

In some games, you have to get the bad guy. In other games, you are the bad guy. So where else would you put the bad guy but in jail. But fret not, for you can now begin filling your prison system demands with the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V. This week, Ace_V began his latest spriting arc with a few hands extending and reaching out through prison bars.

Music and Audio
For your listening pleasure, two more works have been presented within DoubleX's Music Room. The first entitled "Heavy Burden" is indeed laden with deep bass, tuba and bass drumwork representing all the responsibilities one may have, if but only for a possible reprieve with light chimes and wood instruments temporarily releiving the strain. The second composition entitled "Total Surrender" begins with a bass followed by rapid but low octive keyboard progression to symbolize the lack of control anyone has on their life, only for the outlook to appear hopeful with light chimes, wood block and flutes.

Art and Design
Once more has a full color render of the Pandemonic Neko of chaos entered Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing!. Not with a sideview glance has Rykki Schrödinger appeared this past May, but in a full portrait as she stares into your soul. Armed with a heavy barreled pistol and a few coins to flip, she's ready to play the game Ultrakill, but with anyone she pleases. A work that took over half a day, the post came with a flourishing prose and a twenty-four minute speed draw video.

Literature
As she continues to work on her game, we are gifed a few of Remi-chan's Writing Snippets. In this instance, the shippet is for a future optional event within Remi-chan's game, Fantasia, where its revealled that the Children of Calamity's numbers have indeed grown. But for how long would their numbers remain when a powerful force known only as Red appears and has one in restraints and retribution in her eyes,

Well, that's it for this week.

The work on The new HBGames Archive Board as Remi-chan revealed that DerVVulfman was hit with one of the infamous Malware ransom screens.  While he had taken it to a technician for its relatively brisk removal, he let it stay with the tech

Given that he discovered that a number of games had vanished from other forums which he had archived, DerVVulfman decided to go through Save-Point's own boards and made a thread revealing the creation of The Lost Completed Games subforum. He has since gone through the forum's own games, confirmed a great many, repaired links to a few, and found a number that have content that no longer exists.

  Occasions
This week, 5Brainplay joined the community, working upon a Nintendo-esque but legally distinct parody game while using the First Person Labyrinth System by MGC. As he is not a scripter, he notes he is using AI to help him craft script add-ons to give new options for the RPGMaker Raytracing system he is using.  DerVVulfman wished him luck and revealed that there was source code for MGC's DLLs, but 5Brainplay is not a coder himself and is using AI to assist.  Remi-chan has her qualms over AI usage, but added that presenting the work with a notification that some code may be AI generated would be fine.

For DerVVulfman, it appears blood tests and pain was on his mind as he had to take a trip to the hospital. Hit with an agonizing pain, he was in the hospital for five hours after suffering the initial agony of his first kidney stone's appearance.

The war of Russia's invasion of Ukraine continues to be in the News of the World as Putin invites Ukraine's President Zelenskyy to meet him in Moscow. In rebuttal, Zelenskyy suggested Russia's President Putin to meet him in Kyiv. Following that, Putin intentified attacks and began enforcing the Russian border. And as EU President's plane was hit by Russian Jammers, Trump called out Europe for funding Russia by purchasing their oil. China held a military parade to reveal three new weapons to both Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, however there was an unexpected hot-mic moment when President Xi and President Putin were discussing immortality by way of organ transplants. In the US, CBS got hit with another count of deceptive editing, cutting her interview to ‘whitewash’ Kilmar Abrego Garcia's MS-13 background and more. While Chicago Democrats roil against Trump's intent to use the National Guard to quell crime, DC's Mayor Bowser openly endorces federal policing after its massive success. Over 600 newly released documents reveal that the CDC under the Biden administration downplayed risks of the Covid Vaccine and the benefits of natural immunity. And roughly 600 military lawyers are set to serve as temporary immigration judges to resolve the millions of backlogged cases. Venezuela's President Maduro rails against the US, just as a Drug Boat from Venezuela was sunk by US forces. Following this, Venezuelan jets provocatively buzzed a US navy ship. A driver in Australia crashing his car into the the Russian Consolate in Sydney, Trump's latest prisoner exchange offer again ignored by Hamas, Finland finally removing the swastika from its Air Force flags, 300 illegal aliens from South Korea busted in an ICE raid, six candidates from Germany's AFD party die just before local elections with authorities claiming no foul play, and much more hit this week's news.

Within this week's News of the Cyber World, there were data breaches a plenty, be they 24Million AT&T customers,  252 Million targets mostly in Turkey and the United Arab Emirates due to misconfigured servers in Brazil and the UAE, the Drift AI system shut down after discovery its use in hacking Google and Cloudflare, and the recent update of Spotify that can DOX its own users. Censorship of social media also hit the news as Google was down in Turkey by apparent accident, Nepal shuts down Facebook, X, Youtube and dozens more under protest, and  Russia blocks Zuckerberg's content,  On an odd note, a lawyer named Mark Zuckerberg is suing Meta over repeated closures of his account for incorrect claims of identity thef. Disney's settlement for stealing children's data, Character.AI busted for sending disturbing material to minors while impersonatiing celebrities, and much more hit this week's cybernews.

If you are wondering about What's up in RM making, Remi-chan has been going through her rewritten battles and replacing leftover code with the new. And meanwhile, Rune (or Xiie) finished working on one more of Remi's character sprites.

Despite the darkened and gloomy backdrop, the Maps and screenshots thread now reveals new sprited characters in Remi-chan's current work.

  Code Support
There was some back and forth discussion within Ace_V's request for help in his Lead Actor Swapper script error. As the discussion continued, DerVVulfman suggested narrowing down what scripts could be interfering with the system, and also noticed that Ace_V was using an older and untranslated edition of his caterpillar script. But after a few days, DerVVulfman discovered the final issue Ace_V encountered was based on an issue with the Lead Actor script itself, not altering the order of the party itself but instead faking it.  Both he and kyonides released replacement scripts.  Ace_V opted to use kyonides's script since kyonides and Ace_V were sending messages quite rapidly, while encountering an odd bug with DerVVulfman's system.  But DerVVulfman updated a video and a later demo for Ace_V to test, DerVVulfman suggesting there is yet one more error lying somewhere within.

Material Development

  RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
Kyoniides found he had to update the demo for KLastWords XP, while simultaneously updating ths script itself to  prevent stack errors resulting from the F12 Resset key's use.

Within the demo for KLastDefeat XP, a problem appeared one was loading events from another map. And it was the result of a single line of code that kyonides repaired immediately upon discovery.

If you had need for a tutorial menu in an RPGMaker XP project, then KInfoMenu XP by kyonides would allow you to do so with many GUI options.  However, it is not a plug-and-play script as there are many configuration values within the KInfoMenu module to adjust.

Sometimes, you may come across a battle so malevolent, that the party is left with naught but to sacrifice one of their own to continue another day. For this, kyondes created  KursedVictory XP, a script that will force the player to decide who lives and who dies at the end of any specified villain's battle.

There was an unexpeced error within KMustDie XP, one that kyonides had to repair. The issue was that the script did not differentiate between normal battles and those that did not require every enemy in the troop to be slain.

Sometimes a skill that an actor may learn is too powerful and could make the game completely unbalanced.  For this, kyonides created Super Skill Nerf XP for RPGMaker XP.  With it, you can now limit those incredibly powerful attacks to be available but once in battle.

With inspiration by Ace_V, kyonides designed Kuick Leader Swap XP to allow the cycling of the party members or even swappng the team leader with anyone else in the party.

  RPGMaker VX/VXAce (RGSS2/3) Engines
There was an unexpeced error within KMustDie VX + ACE, one that kyonides had to repair. The issue was that the scripts did not differentiate between normal battles and those that did not require every enemy in the troop to be slain.

Sometimes a skill that an actor may learn is too powerful and could make the game completely unbalanced.  For this, kyonides created [Thread=12790]Super Skill Nerf VX for both RPGMaker VX and RPGMaker VX.  With it, you can now limit those incredibly powerful attacks to be available but once in battle.

With all the aquatic resouces recently crafted, one final work entered the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V.  Here, you can find a fisherman wearing a modern yellow raincoat. And if you're wondering about a name, Ace_V gave a nod to a novel by Herman Melville.

Creativity Section
  Music and Audio
This week, three new compositions became available within DoubleX's Music Room.  The twenty-eighth piece he crated was entitled "Soulless Life", with oboes and piano repeating a narrative of a life with nothing to show for it as the calm of oblivion echoes. His work "Detached Outsider" uses flutes and cellows followed by a bridge with light guitar picks, wood blocks and chimes for his twenty-ninth piece to suggest being the odd-one-out may not be a bad thing. And with a deep bass and piano concerto as its beginning, "Waste of Space" is his thirtieth work that asks what's it all for?

  Art and Design
Early this week, we found two sketches among Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing!, two maidens who are both powerful in their own right. But by the end of the week, one was fully crafted in glorious and malevolent indigo against a blackened sky. And standing atop the body of her victim, the Evil God is tearing away his essence. For an illustration that took fifteen hours, she does have a twenty-two minute speed draw.  And following this up, a pencilling of yet another powerful maiden appears.

Gaze in wonder within the new museum halls of Amy's Artwork.  Amysaurus just released a new thread to showcase some o f her works, be it pixelwork, illustrations and game assets. Some of the content is even animated, be they a variety of sideview maidens or happy sideview dinosaurs.  Remi-chan gave a very encouraging opinion of her work, which was followed up by one more illustration, Karen and her Pokémon Team  that was also added into the main page's post.

  Literature
Within the recent page among Remi-chan's Writing Snippets~, we are presented with the notion that the two who exist outside of reality in Remi-chan's recent game do not themselves exist.  Instead, we are presented with the true creator of all things, and that existence as we know it as a whole is naught but her test program.

Well, that's it for this week.

  Casualties: The Lost Completed Games
Posted by: DerVVulfman - 09-02-2025, 06:52 PM - Forum: Announcements and Updates - Replies (1)

Dear Friends,

As you know, I have been working to archive and secure material from other sites to ensure it remains accessible to the public.  However, Save-Point is not without casualties of its own.  There are a number of games that were within our Completed Project board that no longer have viable download links.

When I first went through these, it was only a handful. No more than five or six.  But now that list has grown. Some of these, I understand cannot be restored as they were based upon the now defunct Adobe Flashplayer.  But others...

  • Cell Chamber                             by Calibre
  • Chrono Trigger                           by Ratty524
  • DETANA! LOL GURLZ                        by Ratty524
  • Elena Silverbane                         by AGAFURO
  • Epsilon-Alpha                            by Alpha-Mad
  • greenraven's ye olde gamepack            by greenraven
  • Holiday Hijinks: Christmas Conundrum     by CosmicKitty
  • Holiday Hijinks: House on Haunted Hill   by CosmicKitty
  • Kingdom Hearts: Generation of Guardians  by TheRPGPlaer
  • LOL GURLZ EPIC JUR NEE                   by Ratty524
  • Multimediaxis Kart SDS                   by Deek (Deacon Batista)
  • Solar Mass                               by jreagan406
  • Tales of Zodiac: Memories Lost           by Helladen
  • The Adventure of Shithead                by JWCaisa  *Not parts 2 or 3*
  • The Murder of You                        by Miharu
  • Welcome to Grausigheim                   by deValdr (formerly Valdred)

A long list, I know.  NOT included in this list are Hearts by RMXPokemaniac and Wood Crash by MetalRenard as both of these are indeed an Adobe Flashplayer games.

Also not listed is Belly of the Beast, but I have hopes that a copy will appear within a reasonable length of time.

There is always hope.  For example, there were a number of games that had dead links that have since been  rediscovered and restored.  Of these, three were Fat Schombo's Castle by Deek,  Alpha: Survival of the Fittest by virus2099, and the original Hartacon v1.5 by Charlie Fleed.

Some others just needed updated redirects or fixed up links to their screenshots.

But if one can find any of these games, feel free to PM me.

If one wondered about the lack of activity in The new HBGames Archive Board, Remi-chan revealed that DerVVulfman's PC was hit by a Ransomware screen that locked things up. While she revealed that the screen was uqickly removed, DerVVulfman appeared to have stopped archiving for a time. Condolences were sent by Ace_V who may not have been struck by ransomware, but did have an incident years ago that did brick his own at one point.

General Chat
This week, the News of the World goes back and forth with Iran as Iran delivers a so-called nuclear threat that inspectors will not be allowed in if sanctions are put in place. But the UK, France and Germany have already given warning that sanctions will indeed snap back in place as Iran has repeatedly violated the 2015 accords by kicking out the IAEA inspectors.WIth the war between Ukraine and Russia, Moscow claimed a nuclear facility was struck by Ukraine, though the IAEA said radiation levels around the installation are normal. Russia is mostly giving any hope for peace a cold shoulder while Zelenskii states three conditions that are non-optional. And all the while, Moscow claims attacks from defending Ukraine are hypocritical to peace whilst they continue to bomb civilian targets. In Asia, Vietnam has set goals to create even more artificial islands in the South China Sea than China itself. And North Korea is in a fury as warning shots were fired by South Korean troops as the North's military crossed and violated the DMZ. In the United States, another federal judge attacked President Trump's tariffs despite the Supreme Court siding with Trump over Tariffs this past June. DC's Mayor Bowder thanked Trump for the crime crackdown while other Democrats rail against his efforts. Even Chicago residents appear on video refusing the Democrat narrative. And citing allegations of mortgage fraud, Trump fired Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook. Australia giving Iran's ambassador the boot on discovery anti-semite inspired arson attacks, Bill Gates no longer funding Democrat non-profits, Acetaminophen and its prenatal exposure linked to Autism and HDHD, the Annunciation School Shooting, and Batman in his PJs hit this week's news.

With the new chapter for Heroes of the Seasons comes a new playthrough, this time by Berry B. So sit back and watch as you may find some unexpected cameo appearances.

Code Support
When Ace_V discovered a script error with the Lead Actor Swapper by sheol, he pointed to a line within the script which made DerVVulfman initially think there was an issue with an invalid actor Index number. But once he posted the actual error message as kyonides suggested, kyonides suggested that Sheol's script needed to have the value added in and set to a default value. However, DerVVulfman looked at the script and noted that it was already set, and suggested another script in Ace_V's package was causing the issue and erasing the default values required.

When Ace_V asked How to make a PNG image (or animation) show up before a character dies, DerVVulfman noted it could be done with mere events, stating this while his PC with RPGMaker was in the shop for work. However, kyonides suggested the effect could be done by altering the collapse system, and noted a script he just crafted this week.

RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
If you wanted a character on the battlefield to visually utter their last, then KLastWords XP by kyonides permits you to display the final statements of any actor or enemy just before they collapse and die.

A system cleanup feature was added to kyonides's KMustSurvive XP so the array holding the survivors is cleaned after battle,

It is common that batles within RPGas demand you must defeat all the foes that appear. But if you wished to have another option, then KMustDie XP by kyondes allows you to determine which troops are necessary to defeat, and which ones are not.

RPGMaker VX/VXAce (RGSS2/3) Engines
A system cleanup feature was added to kyonides's KMustSurvive VX + ACE so the array holding the survivors is cleaned after battle, The RPGMaker VXAce port also required a correction to be made involving the enemies array to prevent any game-crashing errors.

"Nothing but Mistakes" was his 26th composition using violin, piano and tuba to emphasice the feeling that one cannot pull themselves out of a pattern of missteps. His 27th composition entitled "Addicted to Despair" begins with a cello and plucks of a harp symbolizing how fate tugs at the threads of your life. But a calming piano and deep brass bridge expresses how things may calm down, if but for a time.

Art and Design
A preview of things to come, the latest work in Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing is a sketch for a character's future incarnation. More powerful than before, a maiden floats in the stars, her long locks twist around two actual cosmic formation of sorts. Is she friend or foe? The bottom of the picture merely states the word: Black.

Literature
While the third disc demo for Fantasia has not yet been released, Remi-chan's Writing Snippets now delivers a tiny portion of a battle aftermath, a battle where the enemy possesses the bodies of heroes and friends of the past for their own dark goals.

Well, that's it for this week.

General Chat
Russia's continuous attacks on Ukraine and Putin's claims hit the News of the World, with making committments last week with the Alaskan conference, and the following attacks in Ukraine including a drone barrage against a US owned electronics factory hundreds of miles away from the front line. NATO's defense chiefs remain on high alert, and EU's top diplomat warns against rewarding Russia with any land concessions. Also following the Alaska meeting, the Kremlin once more demanded that Ukraine give up NATO, give up their land and have no peacekeeping troops ever. Once more, severed heads have appeared in Mexico due to Cartel violence. But this time, they were discovered in the peaceful states of Puebla and Tlaxcala, a message attached claiming it was retribution from a rival cartel attack. In the Middle East, Israel killed one of the October 7th terrorists in an airstrike, and solidified their plans to storm Gaza to destroy Hamas once and for all. Thousands of Palestinians have fled the strip as Israel warned Hamas to agree to a cease fire otherwise hell was coming for them. But on the side of peace, the Azerbaijan-Armenia pact orchestrated by US President Trump ends decades of violence. The pact puts the contentious Zangezur corridor under US control for nearly a century, allowing cheaper trade and simultaneously preventing Iran from causing strangleholds on commerce. Law and order seems to be the words of the week in the US, Trump halting visa holders from interstate trucking following a fatal incident with an illegal alien who gained a commercial license in California, the Governor in New Mexico calling on the National Guard to assist in dealing with crime despite she rallying against US President Trump for doing the same in Washington DC, the massive $500 Million Civil case against Trump for property fraut appealed and vacated, while a third prominent democrat now under investigation for mortgage fraud, and the parole denied to the Menendez Brothers for killing their parents decades ago. Former Brazilian President Bolsonaro attempting to flee Argentina for political asylum, the 'bear attack' in Japan, the Washington Post newspaper blasted for leaking Director Hegseth's family itinerary, rabbits spouting horns in Colorado, four bodies found in Paris’ Seine River leading to an Algerian man's arrest, illegal marijuana farms, firearms and dangerous chemicals found in a raid at California’s Sequoia National Park, the death of Terrence Stamp, and more hit this week's news.

Another work of solace and reflection has been composed, now appearing within DoubleX Music Room this week. His twenty third work, Inner Emptiness begins with a violin melody with wood blocks and glass ocarinas to press upon the listener the secluded passage of time until the flute and piano bridge interrupts. Only then you are introduced to a repeat with more intensity into the realization that heartache and desolation is all that's left.

Announcements and Updates
This week, The new HBGames Archive Board has increased in size, not only adding all the RPGMaker MV and MZ plugins that DoubleX had not already posted, but nearly eighty games from their Completed Projects board. Ace_V was very appreciative, already putting some content from the archive to use, and hoping that DerVVulfman may take a break. The meme uploaded was comically, as Remi-chan pointed out, horrifyingly accurate.

Occasions
You may have ssoup hanging around. But this week, our latest composer decided to create an introduction and make their account fully registered and official. A user of RPGMaker XP and Godot, they like making random games. The two questions DerVVulfman had for ssoup were the types of games favored, and what kind of soup was brought.

General Chat
It would be no surprise that this week's News of the World would be the peace talks between US President Trump and Russia's President Putin. Ahead of the talks, the war between Russia and Ukraine continued with attacks on a Russian gunpowder factory while Ukraine forces their children into underground bunkers amid daily Russian attacks in civilian areas. But with that, trolling by Russia's foreign minister, and Russia's past history, even Hillary Clinton said that President Trump would deserve a Nobel Peace Prize if he can get an accord. In the Middle East, the head of Israel's Mossad traveled to Qatar in hopes to restore peace talks and free the remaining hostage held by Hamas. While Hamas sent its own team to Cairo to do likewise, the one thing they refuse is to give up their weapons even as another senior Hamas leader was taken out in the southern Gaza strip. Meanwhile, footage has been leaked showing Hamas using Barney, Sesame Street clones and a Mickey Mouse knockoff screaming "kill kill kill" to teach and convert children into terrorists. Headaches grow for the liberal party in the U.S. as new questions arise if the New York governor had knowledge that a strike among staff within their prison system was oncoming and allowed to fester, the CEO of a publicity firm that hires actors to pose as fans at events revealed requests to hire paid protestors shot up 400% for flash mobs and anti-Trump events, the Democrat nominee for governor in South Carolina caught on camera arrested in his underwear and ranting maniacally, and the courts ruled DOGE indeed has authority to audit federal records, ending a federal judge's injunction. India shopping anywlere else but Russia for oil to avoid a 50% Trump tariff, a Prinston Professor who was actively involved in Iran’s chemical and nuclear programs stepping down after calls for his removal, more charges are levied against Jimmy “Barbecue” Chérizier, the leader of the brutal Chérizier’s Haitian gang, a coin minted between 69-70AD by Jewish rebels just before the destruction of the Second Temple discovered, the saga of the subway sandwich slinger, and more hit this week's news.

This week, you can find more reflective pieces within Double'sX Music Room. Two more compositions were released, the first entitled Fored Optimistm. Beginning with a delicate and slightly carnival like melody of joy, keyboard intrudes abiet with tintling chimes until the bridge when a quiet and contemplative piano score appears. Beginning with a slow melody with a cello, piano and tuba, the twenty second music creation by DoubleX begins. Futile Struggle does pick up the pace, adding more instruments. But once you get past the tuba solo that is the bridge, the instruments change with the tuba being the main instrument, accented by a wood block and light flute in the background. And while those two were his latest works, DoubleX revisited his thirteenth and twentiesth compositions, adding chords and fixing some inconsistencies in the melodies.

Art and Design
Is she to be feared? Certainly. Is she a threat to everything? Time may tell, as Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing now unveils The Archduke in Black herself, of the same people in which both the Insidious Architect and the Immoral Messenger, she is a sight to behold, wearing hotpants and a top with almost as little cover as her comically demented Souldcatcher, Kloe. Opened only this week, it contains over 800 scripts from RPGMaker XP through to VXAce that DerVVulman had already salvaged, though author's name and original post date appears only in the threads themselves. And DerVVulfman admits that there is more work that needs to be done. But he had already updated the Forum Signature Banner to include HBGames as one of the numerous sites archived. Such news was welcome indeed, both CarlosDavila and Ace_V appreciative, Ace_V even finding a splash screen he so desired within the newly formed board.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine continues within the News of the World as both sides trade shots. Worse yet, Russia opens a website to auction off Ukranian Children they have kidnapped; literal child trafficking. Though US President Trump works to get a peace accord between the two while suggesting land consessions, Ukraine and other nations in Europe state that Ukraine will not cede any land to Russia. And while President Trump planned to pressure India to stop buying Russian Oil funding their war, new evidence appeared to show that Russian drone also include parts supplied by India itself. The cease fire talks with Iran seem to have a bleak outlook as Iran refuses any concessions, let alone any nuclear inspections. Israel's intent to re-occupy Gaza to wipe out Hamas received some backlash from Germany, suspending arms exports. However, the brother of the Hamas hostage dubbed the 'living-skeleton' railed that Hamas keeps its terrorists well fed and starves everyone else in the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the Associated Press is now receiving grief months later for their report over the Israeli pager attack, sympathetically calling Hezbollah terrorists surviving victims. It was two weeks ago when twenty beheaded bodies were found in Sinaloa, Mexico due to cartel violence. But this week, thirty two bodies were now found; this time in Guanajuato, one of the most cartel-ravaged regions. And while US President Trump secretly authorized military incursions against Latin American drug cartels designated foreign terrorists in the Fentanyl trade, Mexico's President Sheinbaum stated no US military presence will be found in her nation. There's less good news for Democrats in the US, California's Adam Schiff now under investigation for mortgage fraud declaring his Maryland Property, not his California home, as his residence for lower rates. The same mortgage fraud allegations can be levied against NY AG Letitia James who oversaw the near $500Million Civil Fraud case against Trump, while another charge for denying his civil rights also looms. Recently revealed, the Democratic Socialists of America which back Zohran Mamdani's campaign also backed and supported a pro-North Korea ‘Death to imperialism’ rally. This while Texas's Jasmine Crockett is now facing ridicule from her own staff, focused on being an influencer rather than doing her job in Congress. And worse, one of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez's staff was arrested for the coordination of 25,000 social media followers to attack a public high school that specifically had Jewish students. The EU signing a deal with the US to avoid Trump Pharmaceutical Tariffs, a teenage Chinese exchange student killing another in Australia, Nut-hungry rats devastaing California's almond farms, the new peace deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan offering new leverage against Russia, and more hit this week's news.

While it took a full re-format and restore, the issues with her PC's sound and many other problems had been fixed. This while she received the final portraits of her fowlhunter, or anime bird-folk) characters and a wood elf female from her artist Pjcr.

  The new HBGames Archive Board
Posted by: DerVVulfman - 08-09-2025, 10:01 PM - Forum: Announcements and Updates - Replies (28)

Dear friends.

As those that have visited our site in the past week may be aware, a long-running indie game forum in the RPGMaker community had closed.  HBGames, formerly RMXP.Org, has been in existence for nearly twenty years.  And with that, twenty years worth of content that would vanish if efforts were not taken.

Ergo, the HBGames Archive has been created.

With a near manic pace, the entire RPG Maker Scripts board had been searched. And what software that could be saved was recreated.  It was an incredible breakneck speed that over 800 posts were saved within one week of discovery that HBGames had vanished.

Having been a member so long ago, some of the actual demos that were lost over the years, I happened to have on my drive.  So there are some cases where Save-Point is now the exclusive site to such works.

The work is not nearly done.  Plugins, Art, and Games must be looked into soon.  And the posts have neither attribution to the original authors other than a note at the top, and the notice stating they are present for archival purposes not placed.

But honestly, the Plugins section isn't even 1/10th the size of the Scripts section, and our own DoubleX must have crafted a good many of those.

Thank you.

General Chat
This week, there was world-wide shock as video of a near skeletal Hamas hostage digging his own grave hit the News of the World. What the terrorist organization thought would be psychological damage may enflame and spur nations more against Hamas. And while Iran demands financial compensation from the US, the US levies even more sanctions as it and many allies have accused Iran's government of sanctioning assassinations and attempts. There has been no progress with Russia in peace talks, Moscow launching more missile and drone attacks, unveiling their new glidebomb. But in retaliation Ukraine launched its own attacks against Russian oil depots, submarine bases and air bases. Simultaneously, US nuclear were sent out, and the US Congress begins readying sanctions against Moscow ahead of the 10 day deadline. In the US, there's more fallout against members of the Russiagate Conspiracy as official documents reveal ties confidential talks between the DNC and George Soros, and Hillary Clinton's sanctioning of the Trump/Russia smear campaign. And prosecutor Jack Smith is now under the gun for attempted interference with the 2024 Presidential election under the Hatch act. China's race to stop their population numbers from plunging further, US President Trump re-establishing the Presidential Fitness Test that began in 1950, the horror of a mass baby grave exhumed in Ireland, a Russian volcano erupting for the first time after 600 years, the spread of a flesh-eating parasite in Mexico, three charged with assault in connection with viral Cincinnati brawl while the police chief slams social media as 'out-of-context' whilst bring it attention, another California wildfire, Jimmy Hoffa, and more hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
Problems with AI had been revealed within this week's News of the Cyber World, whether one's private conversations become content within Google searches, advice they've given sabotage women and minority salaries, and the 500% increase in crypto scams. On issues of data breaches, Microsoft's Sharepoint was hacked with thousands of firms exposed, the users of Tea were revealed, a MTA board meeting interrupted by a hacker with porn, and even Russia had pharmacies endangered by such cyber attacks. And there have been both gains and losses among major players. Sales of iPhones blew expectations. But Google lost its appear in the Fortnite Anti-Trust lawsuit and Tesla ordered to pay $243 Million due to a deadly autopilot incident. Probes into the EU and Biden administration in Spotify censorship, a young woman dying from a heart attack with 26 iphones glued to her, and more hit this week's news.

In the realm of Chinese Hackers, even Covid Research was not immune as Zewei Xu was just arrested in Italy, Xu working for the CCP to steal any and all information on the vaccines. Microsoft's own alert systems may have been at fault, whilst notifying the public of Chinese hack attempts, actively had a security flaw in itself that permitted a recent breach in its own SharePoint service. And of alerts, Microsoft now claims China's Linen Typhoon and Violet Typhoon breached the Sharepoint service used by the US Nuclear agengy.

  We bid Farewell to HBGames
Posted by: DerVVulfman - 08-03-2025, 03:31 AM - Forum: Announcements and Updates - Replies (2)

Dear community members,

It has been brought to our attention that HBGames had closed down, its last day was at the end of April this year. It still has a running Discord, and those with HBGames's url of https://www.arpgmaker.com will find themselves redirected to its invite page.

Formerly opened as RMXP.Org by Eric 'Erk' Butler and Sasha 'ccoa' Harlow, it was a follow-up site and safe harbour to RMXP.net which was then run by Lord Gradient's. Though .Net first formed in May 2004 and made RMXP a popular keyword, it was RMXP.Org that was constructed in 2006 and opened officially during the summer as a sister site for all members to migrate.

[Image: image.php?u=1&dateline=1147839356&s=002d...7a09dd62b&]       [Image: image.php?u=1008049&dateline=1178372198]

It went through hard times, and management changed over a few times.  And after a rebranding to HBGames.Org, it was Wyatt/Ellie/Amy who took the reigns of forum software management and renovation.

By January 2010, the repair work Amy performed included fixes to the quick reply section, direct links, the image uploader and the recovery of Tana's video tutorials.  After that, the community thrived, and it lasted over a decade longer.

But after nearly two decades, we must now bid farewell.
