If you analyze them carefully, they do provide you with some valuable advice, especially if you're a newcomer.

That second one is spot on. I've seen a fair share of users losing their projects and not having done any backups in the RM discord channel I frequent

I just can't seem to leave well enough alone.

Laughing That Centi-Second timer system I made that allows you to have a hella accurate wait system based on the PC's actual timer is being worked on a little more. To be specific, I am looking into granting centi-second wait options to the default 'Move Picture' feature. You can still use the default RMXP command, but you would need to add a simple 'script call' to say "HEY, USE CENTI-SECONDS!" first.

So whether the player uses SMOOTH mode at 20fps or normal mode at 40fps, the pictures will show at the same speed all the time for any PC.

Thank you RUBY for having a 'Time' class.

Thinking I've been thinking if my nameless game engine's script format should resemble Gosu's or RM's or follow a different path.

What do you think about it, guys? Confused

You have HiddenChest worked out in Ruby ruby, so perhaps go with another? I'm open to expanding our library of scripts for other language options. Our own Juraian Princess Sasami Jurai made a battle-system with Ren'Py which is pretty wicked in itself.

Still, we would want an editor so the end-user could edit and make their game with the engine.

RE: What's up, RMers? - kyonides - 08-27-2020

Pffft, it'd take just too long to master another scripting language and adapting it to an engine so that option is a no go for sure. Laughing + Tongue sticking out
Wulfo, you already know I've got no experience in making editors. Serious It's not an easy task at all, especially a map editor. Sad

Confused The heck? You're the one who brought it up and asked, dude. Head-desk Thud

You got me wrong. I NEVER ever said I was switching to another language. Keep in mind I mentioned Gosu meaning Ruby Gosu, not C++ Gosu that we've never talked about here. So I'm keeping Ruby for convenience.
Got any other suggestions?

Ugh...   Feeling sick   writing help files with a high level of detail is a serious drag.

I got so much I wanna do.

I want to continue and promote the Half Kaiser Battler Project to get more resources and more artists.

I want to make a default RTP-styled Battler resource project.

I want to continue work on my Lycan ABS.

I want to make a Bomb Disposal Minigame.

I want a pizza.

Me not, you see, I don't wanna eat too much at night. Sad

Well, I've already implemented the Input.press? and Input.trigger? methods in Roole Game Engine. Gosu's methods were Window#button_down and button_up so for a trigger you had to create those two methods to realize somebody had "triggered" a button. Confused
