Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself Official Area General Chat
Power outages was on the Mind of DerVVulfman as many outlets died in his kitchen. This was only two months after a previous repair. It hardly needs to be said, but the recent Terror Attack against Israeli civilians struck this week's News of the World. The response from the international community was fast, the U.S. deploying ships to send munitions while Germany suspends all aid to Palestine as Palestine celebrated the attack. When it comes to immigration, problems are worldwide. Two migrants from Palestine and Algeria escaped a prison in France and violent migrants attempted to enter Poland at the Belarus border. The nation of Senegal is intercepting boat after boat of migrants fleeing to Europe. And after New York City's Mayor Adams traveled to Latin America to beg illegal aliens to come, DHS Alejandro Mayorkas gives official orders to build section of the wall where illegal crossings are the highest and U.S. President Biden admits the money set aside during the Trump Administration must be used for the wall construction. The conflict between Ukraine and Russia continues, Russia decimating a village during a funeral with a precision missile strike as they hypocritically try to return to the U.Nm Human Rights Council. Of the late Wagner Chief Prigozhin, Putin claims he accidentally killed himself with a grenade. And in a strange turn, Russia accidentally revealed sensitive information about its own spies by releasing the wrong documents. Climate Change is being confronted on both sides of the Atlantic, auto-workers saying their jobs are at stake while 800 climate spy cameras were eliminated in the UK. U.S. President Biden's son pleads Not Guilty to gun charges, Ukraine blasts China as sponsoring Russia's aggression, the feud between India and Canada deepens, the loss of Dick Butkus, and more hit this week's news. Tech Talk
It appears that Artificial Intelligence is going to dominate the News of the Cyber World as the use of Robin Williams's voice and a simulation of Tom Hanks without permission brought forth rage. Meanwhile, it was uncovered that ChatGPT is politically biased with its directives intentionally concealed. Google is in serious legal trouble with antitrust lawsuits, and a RICO lawsuit with both H&R Block and Facebook. Amazon now being sued by the FTC over price fixing, new Electric Car manufacturer Rivian is losing money every time a car is sold, and much more hit this week's cybernews. Games Development Development Discussion
Accomplishments occurred for some of our RMers if curious What's up, such as Remi-chan astonished the first demo for her new game was done in a month. With that done, she decided to start working on a little developer's backstory video. Meanwhile, DerVVulfmna managed to recreate a scrolling listbox that functions better within his current Windows objects project. KasperKalamity wondered if there were opinions regarding RPGMaker Unite, whereby both DerVVulfman and Remi-chan chose to voice disapproval of the system. Even kyonides was surprised at the shoddy game development experience. Meanwhile, kyonides has thoughts of returning to and expanding the capabilities of two of his earlier works. Creativity Section Music and Audio
As Eric Matyas continues Sharing His Original Music, he too continues creating low-fidelity reworks of his earlier compositions. For the Halloween Season, he remastered two of his more ominous pieces, "Dark Lands" featuring instruments such as pipe organs that give an eerie cathedralesque quality, and "Confrontation" with heavy distorted bass guitar work in a rhytmic manner to give any cyberpunk game a feel of approaching dread. Well, that's it for this week. “Here’s some advice: At a job interview, tell them you’re willing to give 110 percent. Unless the job is a statistician.” - Adam Gropman PROSPECTIVE GAZETEERS!
