In my statement about cows, I meant domestic cows would die off. They have no immunities and small useless brains. We didn't domesticate the cow, we domesticated the buffalo or something similar and twisted it into what it is today. Just look at turkeys, they've only been domesticated for a hundred years and they've lost all their natural abilities. What will a turkey be in a thousand years? A turkey. But it won't be able to survive in the wild.

So my point is they cant take care of themselves and even iif they could the other animals in this world would just eat them and then we would not have high calcium milk :( Shame

Meat is not bad for you. Scientists believe that part of what gave human beings the survivability and proper nutrition to develop our brains as we know them today was the fact that we are omnivores. Omnivores eat meat AND vegetables. Eating vegetables only, and refusing to eat meat, and saying that it's "healthier" for you, is really a relative and close-minded argument. Meat provides alot of sustenance.

BUT!

Is this to say that vegans and vegetarians don't have a point when they talk about animal cruelty? Absolutely not. I positively abhor the way we treat animals. Even domesticated pets. But the problem really is, all of you are running like powerless little chickens with your heads cut off, and McDonalds, in that allegory, we could say, would be the farmer. AKA: You don't have a choice. Just like you don't have a choice on what shoes to buy.

Regardless of what YOU do, there are millions of frothing little American fetus-monsters out there that are going to eat and shit and fuck and burn everything until we all die.

So have fun with your fucking vegan diet, anyways. Best suggestion, and this is my honest opinion, if you want to see people treat animals properly and all of that nonsense: start a radical militant group and blow a bunch of shit up until all of the grey-haired old devils who run the world come and kill you. Then hope, once you're dead (if you can hope once you're dead), that someone caught in on camera, and will accelerated what you did.

Really, picking different things at a grocery store may make you feel better, but it's not doing anything else. Consumerist power is faux power.

@daojones I agree with you. Nothing is going to change until we give people knives and mandate that they hunt their own food (no ranged weapons) in a safari type setting. :3

I have periods where I eat primarily meat, but I also have periods where I eat only plant matter. Generally, those two only occur in the lack of seafood, which I do not consider to be meat, but a more superior existence. If, if not when, the world floods, I will run around in glee upon my small island, before breaking out in song to a corrupted version of "Under the Sea" glorifying the consumption of all water animals, include whales.
