I think the site redesign looks great! :)
Crono Trigger begins with a sounds very similar to '70s-era Genesis. :)
The second is nice piano music, too. ;)

Chrono Trigger music... an arrangement of the already awesome Memories of Green... with Tales of Phantasia screenshots?
Sure, I'll go with that.

Hurray for big updates!
Bandcamp Update
My music is now for sale, fo' reals, yo! I even sorted it out by genre in columns. There's not much on there right now but it's a start!

(I couldn't sleep so I uploaded and designed all that. -_-) (Dammit I'm tired)
Youtube Videos Update! There seems to be a lot of rock/metal this time:
(Spoilers are to speed up loading times for my less speedy friends... connections)
Assassination of the Indiscriminate Mind
Fairy Tale (Epicness Will Prevail) I'm proud of this one and the story that goes with it. :)
Arcan Chronicles Cover (Requested by the Producers :3)
Rush To The End (Some boring arcade music... It's in SP's download section). Not a fan of this one myself but sometimes you have to do music that other's ask you to do, right? :)

I'm spending the next few days actually singing one of the songs for my album. The original guy can't do it so I have to step in and hope for the best. Heh
Here's some of the result for the first hour (since that's all I have spare today)

What do you guys think? ^^
Remember it's barely mixed yet and I haven't edited anything yet to fix timing. This was recorded with a $30 headset (basically AWFUL microphone). First attempt at some kind of metal high pitch singing at the end too.

I'm going to sound like a dick here, just because I've had vocal training from a Filipino master, but it sounds like you may have been pushing a little hard at a point or two. You should focus on singing deep down from the diaphragm and making sure that you keep your mouth and throat wide open, so as to not restrict the natural tone. That is pretty hard to just do with me just saying it though.
I'd love to provide you some aid, but I don't have a working microphone at this point in time, nor the time to get into my school's equipment.
Either way, you seem to understand how to have your voice fit the mood of the song which people don't always understand, so a definite kudos for that. I would say just keep doing it until you find the sound that occurs most naturally. My teacher sort of copied a line from Futurama saying "if you sing right, you'll never really be sure if you're singing at all", and while that comes off as a little confusing, he just means that your voice sounds best where there is the least resistance coming from your throat and range.

Yeah, a few points were forced and I'm going to redo those tomorrow. I only had an hour to sing a whole song 6 times over today so I didn't have time to redo parts at all, these are mostly first takes. :P
You don't sound like a "dick" at all, I've only ever sung a few songs and I hardly have time or a place to practice so I'm by no means an expert at it and I don't pretend to be.
Just to clarify - when you say forced do you mean when I forced to distort my voice in the lows? Because that's the only time it was "unnatural" for me to sing it. That particular tone of voice is pretty natural for me.

Damn. Bad news in a good way.
My sister is getting back a day earlier than expected which is nice.
Sadly this means I won't get a chance to finished this song! DAMN!

I don't remember offhand which part I was referring too specifically, but for some reason I can't get the track to play :s.
I wouldn't doubt if that's what I was referring to though. I remember it having the multiple voice tracks, and I remember one that didn't blend as well as the other at times. That might be it. If so, that makes sense. Regardless, I wouldn't pass any judgement on vocals of any sort until I heard them recorded with something quality. Do you have a condenser mic for that sort of stuff, or do you just record digitally with guitars?
