My theory: Ventus is the traitor of the Foretellers. It's just a theory, but he is the only one with an unaccounted for past other than Xehanort, who went missing for a long time. Also, even Organization 13 knows of his memory loss, stating that it was directly after the Keyblade War. And Xehanort's reappearance around the time of Ventus being around is no coinkydink. I think he was also around for it. 

But of course, this is just a crazy theory I came up with, and it could be 100% wrong
