RPG Inventor

Update: I hope you are not too disappointed in this short clip but it shows the RPG Player working with my new interface (at an average of 48-50fps!!), it looks like I have some boundary issues with larger sprites, so I will be fixing this in the future.
I will post up a longer version when I implement the map change event back into RPG Inventor, which should not take too long

I am keeping that map for when I put in the map change event today, that way I can demonstrate the new interface working much better, it was not much hard work because i was was just alot of copying and pasting my code from my old interface project to this one, of course i have imporved things as I have gone along.

it's the wrong movie ;)

anyway, you really should try to make the map loading faster, cause its annoying if you have to wait every time you switch from map :/

oops updated the link now, yes map loading will be faster, it will be done dynamically in the background (in the future), at the moment it just loads up the required map when it needs to swap maps

As you can see We need to improve the select map position dialog, We will render the whole map at half the scale in the future for this dialog.

Update: first of all I would like to make an apology for my absence lately the past two weeks have been very busy, i have now upgraded to windows 7, so i should now be able to get back to working on RPG Inventor.
Also this means that I should be able to make an x64 version of RPG Inventor Cheery (don't worry we are still supporting x86 as well)
