Wrote this one for a girl, it ain't finished yet. Skipperbirds are an avian species from my fictional universe.

Were you a bird, what would you do?
Soar through the clouds and bend your wings
touching that sea of blue.

Sing with me nightingale
Imprisoned now, but not for long.
I’ll set you free, I have the key now too
to release you from a cage imprisoned wrong.

Sit on my hand and peck my fingers
