FPS Creator NOW FREE!!!!

FPS Creator Classic, a 3d FPS style game creator engine created by THE GAME CREATORS has officially become open source. The company has included the Source files, as well as the actual product and aTON of 3d models and entities for it.

Also included is the most recent stable update to the software, version 1.20

In addition to all the free model packs being provided, there are still sources online with free user-created content, scripts, and a lot of awesome items to create a 3d adventure RPG, First Person Shooter, even a Resident Evil style camera game.

So, what I thought I'd do is go ahead and create a Wordpress elsewhere to show pictures relating to each of these model packs that are available for download,

FPS Creator Extra Tools

I wanted to draw your attention to several pieces of software to help you out in creating custom content for FPS Creator as well.

FPS Segment Creator - This is a software that will aid in crafting alternative textures for those segments you want to create for your indoor dungeon delves.
Texture Converter - Created by Doomster, this converts JPG to the DDS format the FPS Creator is used to using.
FPS Creator Entity Maker - Used to create new entities from .x files
FPI EditPad - This helps with creating the FPI Script syntax, and can help you examine any mistakes in scripting FPI scripts for your game
