Well, it seems I just ended up partaking in a workshop (some one-time scripters' event) regarding ReactJS and Flux. Honestly I can say I was disappointed at ReactJS, it's not that useful nor reactive as they might let you think. I won't say it's not a good option for web developers but I still think its open source implementation is still far from decent, it has only reached version 0.14.x so we can treat it as a bit immature for many people's taste.

The ReactJS evangelists might tell you it will only refresh that specific part of your website that was actually modified instead of updating the whole webpage as usual. The truth is that might not happen as expected, there are moments when children's render methods might conflict with their parents and might cause performance issues or update info on screen incorrectly.

Anyway I doubt Facebook people really released a full version of their production React scripts, the open source version might be several versions behind the one actually used by that social media website.
