This virus is probably with us beyond this season, beyond this year, and I think eventually the virus will find a foothold and we will get community-based transmission. You can start to think of it in the sense like seasonal flu.
The containment phase is really to give us more time.

It means we gotta think it might just stay alive for a year or even more so the health authorities should not only focus on the containment of the virus but also on improving its current treatment and finally developing a vaccine. It's not a call for alarm but just an announcement of what we should expect from the coronavirus. Even so we better keep washing our hands!
