Gen. Ali Mayhoub, spokesman for the Syrian Armed Forces, said in a televised speech that Syrian troops were continuing their ground advances to "eradicate what is left of terrorist groups" in Syria, congratulating the soldiers for the swift advances in "record time."

Yeah... I wonder who launched attacks that used biochemicals to kill people, civilians included.

Sadly I don't think we've got any Chinese or Mandarin speaker around here that can tell us what the suspicious document says.

China says Xinjiang has policies that "respect and ensure people's freedom of religious belief". It also insists that what it calls a "vocational training programme in Xinjiang" is "for the purposes of combating terrorism and religious extremism", adding only people who have been convicted of crimes involving terrorism or religious extremism are being "educated" in these centres.

Yeah, who would expect China to admit it's committing such heinous crimes...

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian predicted the two sides would "rip each other apart" as they strove for advantage in the negotiations.
He also said it would be tough for the UK to achieve its aim of agreeing a free trade deal by the end of the year.

It seems France really wanna make the United Kingdom suffer a lot now that it has left the European Union.  
Don't even think France is trying to exact some sort of historical revenge on the UK.
