Carcinogen found in hand sanitizers sold during pandemic

The pharmacy, Valisure, tested numerous hand sanitizer products for chemicals including benzene, formaldehyde and others, finding higher levels of the cancer-causing benzene in nearly two dozen products sold in the U.S.

The analysis went on to suggest that while only a fraction of the market had been tested, few of the products containing high levels of benzene appeared to be manufactured in Mexico; most came from the U.S. or China.

 Keep in mind some of the hand sanitizers they tested include eye catching pictures like the famous "Baby Yoda" from The Mandalorian.

Due to the corona-resolutions of the federal government and the states, the former figure skater Katarina Witt recalls the times of the GDR. "The similarity is amazing, what they did in the name of "the will of the people" as a small group can easily achieve in such a collective manner, first in socialism and nowadays in capitalism" posted the fifty-year-old woman on her Facebook page. "I don't like to voice it but a small devil on top of my shoulder whispers in my ear mischievously "Welcome back to the GDR!"

Yeah, the GDR is the former East Germany.  It doesn't feel good to suddenly recall it after 30 years of freedom.
