Former Harris Staffer Thinks Biden Should Resign
Quote:Former communications director for Vice President Kamala Harris, Jamal Simmons, surprised a CNN panel Sunday by suggesting President Biden step down to allow Harris to serve as the first female president.
"Joe Biden’s been a phenomenal president, he’s lived up to so many of the promises he’s made. There’s one promise left that he could fulfill, being a transitional figure," Simmons said on CNN’s "State of the Union." "He could resign the presidency in the next 30 days, make Kamala Harris President of the United States—"
The panel, including host Dana Bash, reacted audibly to the idea.
He continued, "It would absolve her from having to oversee the January 6th transition of her own defeat. And it would make sure, it would dominate the news, at a point where Democrats have to learn, drama and transparency and doing things the public want to see. This is the moment for us to change the entire perspective of how Democrats operate."
"This has now jumped from an internet meme to a Sunday morning show," Bash responded.
Fellow panel member and CNN commentator Scott Jennings remarked, "Jamal’s out here writing a season of ‘House of Cards.’"
When Bash asked Simmons about Harris’ chances of being nominated to the Supreme Court, he reiterated his call for Harris as president.
"This is something within Joe Biden‘s control. If he did it, it would, again, fulfill his last promise and give Kamala Harris a chance to be the 47th President of the United States of America. It would disrupt all of Donald Trump‘s paraphernalia, right? He‘d have to rebrand everything. And make it easier for the next woman president not have to hold all that weight of being the first," Simmons said.

Biden Welcomes Trump
Quote:President Joe Biden welcomed President-Elect Donald Trump back to the White House on Wednesday and congratulated him on his landslide victory.
Trump’s historic appearance at the White House was his first visit since 2021, a visual contrast between the once-two bitter political rivals over the last five years.
“Well, Mr. President-Elect and Former President Donald, congratulations,” Biden said as he shook Trump’s hand.
“Thank you,” Trump replied.
“Looking forward to having, like we said, a smooth transition,” Biden added. “Do everything we can to make sure you’re accommodated.”
“We’re gonna get a chance to talk to us on that today. Welcome, welcome back,” Biden said.
Trump thanked Biden and graciously spoke about the incoming transition of power.
“Politics is tough, and it’s in many cases not a very nice world, but it is a nice world today,” Trump said. “I appreciate it very much. A transition that’s so smooth, it’ll be as smooth as it can get.”
“I very much appreciate that,” he added.
“You’re welcome,” Biden said.
Trump Picks Musk & Ramaswamy
Quote:President-elect Donald Trump announced he has picked Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk and entrepreneur and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to “lead the Department of Government Efficiency.”
In a press release from the Trump-Vance transition team, Trump praised Musk and Ramaswamy as being “wonderful Americans” who would “pave the way” for his administration to “dismantle Government Bureaucracy” and “slash excess regulations.”
“I am pleased to announce that the Great Elon Musk, working in conjunction with American Patriot Vivek Ramaswamy, will lead the Department of Government Efficiency (‘DOGE’). Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies — Essential to the ‘Save America’ Movement,” Trump said in his statement.
The press release continued:
It will become, potentially, “The Manhattan Project” of our time. Republican politicians have dreamed about the objectivies of “DOGE” for a very long time. To drive this kind of drastic change, the Department of Government Efficiency will provide advice and guidance from outside of Governnment, and will partner with the White House and Office of Management & Budget to drive large scale structural reform, and create an entrepreneurial approach to Government never seen before.
I look forward to Elon and Vivek making changes to the Federal Bureaucracy with an eye on efficiency and, at the same time, making life better for all Americans. Importantly, we will drive out the massive waste and fraud which exists throughout our annual $6.5 Trillion Dollars of Government Spending. In August, Musk revealed that he would be willing to work in Trump’s administration, sharing what appeared to be an AI-generated photo of himself at what appeared to be a podium with the words, “D.O.G.E.”
Underneath were the words, “Department of Government Efficiency.”
During a conversation on X between Musk and Trump, Musk brought up the idea of a “government efficiency commission,” that would cut down on government waste, and offered to “help out” on the commission.
“I think it would be great to just have a government efficiency commission that takes a look at these things and just ensures that the taxpayer money, the taxpayers’ hard-earned money, is spent in a good way,” Musk said. “And I’d be happy to help out on such a commission if it were formed.”
RFK Jr. as Head of Trump's HHS

Trump announced in a written statement on social media:

For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to Public Health. The Safety and Health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration, and HHS will play a big role in helping ensure that everybody will be protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming Health Crisis in this Country. Mr. Kennedy will restore these Agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research, and beacons of Transparency, to end the Chronic Disease epidemic, and to Make America Great and Healthy Again!
Donald Trump Jr., Trump’s son, wrote, “Robert F Kennedy Jr will be The Secretary of Health and Human Services! Promises Made Promises Kept.”
Trump has promised to let Kennedy “go wild” with healthcare policy over food and healthcare policy after the third-party candidate dropped out and endorsed Trump’s bid to become the 47th president.
“He’s going to help make America healthy again. … He wants to do some things, and we’re going to let him get to it,” Trump said in his victory speech, citing Kennedy’s “Make America Healthy Again [MAHA]” initiative. “Go have a good time, Bobby.”
Kennedy would have, if confirmed, sway over a wide swathe of healthcare regulatory bodies, which includes the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Kennedy wrote in late October:
FDA’s war on public health is about to end. This includes its aggressive suppression of psychedelics, peptides, stem cells, raw milk, hyperbaric therapies, chelating compounds, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamins, clean foods, sunshine, exercise, nutraceuticals and anything else that advances human health and can’t be patented by Pharma. If you work for the FDA and are part of this corrupt system, I have two messages for you: 1. Preserve your records, and 2. Pack your bags.
Gaetz Becomes the Next Attorney General
Quote:Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has resigned from his congressional seat after President-elect Donald Trump nominated him to serve as Attorney General in his administration.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) announced and confirmed that Gaetz’s resignation was “effective immediately” and that a special election will be held in his congressional district.
Mike Johnson revealed that Gaetz stepped down from his post due to a state law that gives an “8-week period to select and fill a vacant seat.”
“If you start the clock now, if you do the math, we may be able to fill that seat as early as Jan. 3 when we take the new oath of office for the new Congress,” Johnson explained of Gaetz’s reasoning.
“He’s a reformer in his mind and heart, and I think he’ll bring a lot to the table on that,” Johnson added.
Trump formally nominated Gaetz to oversee the Department of Justice (DOJ) Wednesday afternoon.
“Few issues in America are more important than ending the partisan Weaponization of our Justice System. Matt will end Weaponized Government, protect our Borders, dismantle Criminal Organizations and restore Americans’ badly-shattered Faith and Confidence in the Justice Department,” he said.
“On the House Judiciary Committee, which performs oversight of DOJ, Matt played a key role in defeating the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, and exposing alarming and systemic Government Corruption and Weaponization,” he added.
Gaetz raised hell in Washington, DC, in 2023 with a motion to vacate then-Speaker Kevin McCarthy, which prevailed and ousted the California Republican from presiding over the House of Representatives.
Trump formally nominated Gaetz to Attorney General on Wednesday, which will have to be approved by the U.S. Senate.
Pentagon Reacting To Trump's Victory
Quote:The Pentagon is in “absolute disarray” with “generals scrambling” due to the incoming Trump administration’s plans to fire woke senior military leaders who prioritized diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) over combat readiness, according to sources.
One source compared it to a hornet’s nest being kicked over and that “DEI pages are starting to disappear off the main websites.”
“They’re being archived as we speak. They are full-bore focused on cleaning up anything DEI-related,” the source said.
Another source said people are trying to find out if they are on the list to be cut. “They are in panic mode,” the source said.
The scramble to hide evidence comes as President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team has begun gathering names of senior officers who pushed DEI.
One source familiar with the plan told Breitbart News that an executive order has been drafted to create a panel to recommend those senior officers for elimination and that the EO is “definitely” going to Trump’s desk.
“This is for real. This [EO] has made the cut,” the source said, adding that it is possible that it is still being revised and consulted with incoming leaders at the Pentagon.
Indeed, a member of the Trump transition team has already begun reaching out to troop advocates for names, including Army whistleblower retired Green Beret Lt. Col. Pete “Doc” Chambers. Chambers served for 39 years in the Army and retired after he was told not to give his troops informed consent for the COVID vaccine.
Also working on gathering names is another Army whistleblower, retired Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Samuel Shoemate, who was investigated by woke officers for running a whistleblower website and his advocacy for troops who did not want the COVID vaccine, as previously exclusively reported by Breitbart News.
Sources said, however, the EO is focused on DEI — not COVID — and that its purpose is to “reorient the U.S. military away from the woke ideology and priorities that has been foisted upon it” as far back as the Obama administration.
“The purpose of the EO is to restore the military leadership focus on keeping the country safe and when necessary, fighting the country’s wars…not these extraneous factors [such as] “white rage” and gender identity…just this full range of left-wing woke priorities that have impacted recruitment in the military and retention in the military and a person’s prospects of promotion in the military” the source familiar with the plan said.
Rand Paul Introduces Healthcare Legislation
Quote:Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) introduced legislation Thursday aimed at increasing healthcare access and giving Americans more alternatives to Obamacare and employer-sponsored health insurance.
“As Americans’ health care costs continue to rise, my plan puts more power in the people’s hands, getting rid of unnecessary restrictions, expanding access, and trusting Americans to make the decisions that are best for them,” Paul, an ophthalmologist, said in a written statement.
Paul, who will become the chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee at the beginning of the next congressional term, introduced the Health Marketplace for All Act of 2024 and the Health Savings Accounts for All Act.
The two bills aim to give Americans more control over their healthcare.
The Health Marketplace for All Act of 2024 would allow any membership organization — which includes wholesale clubs (such as Costco), credit unions, and churches, among others — to offer an ERISA health plan to its members “across state lines—regardless of an employment relationship.”
A press release from Paul’s office stated that while employer-sponsored plans provide great value, many Americans cannot access such a plan because they do not work for a large corporation that can afford it.
The press release continued:
Nearly any conceivable membership-based entity would be empowered to collectively bargain with insurers to negotiate better rates. The possible sponsors for these bargaining groups are endless – they could include rideshare services, online retailers, wholesale clubs, credit unions, churches, etc. Any group of people who choose to join in common cause could access cheaper, better health insurance.
Teacher Thinks Wearing a MAGA Shirt is a Hate Crime, Not the Other Way Around
Quote:A Los Angeles County, California, high school teacher is reportedly under fire for storming out of her classroom at the sight of a student wearing a “Make America Great Again” shirt last week.
In an email sent later to students, obtained by the Daily Mail, the teacher said it is unfair for one group to be able to espouse “racist, misogynistic, antisemite, and homophobic” views:
@elonmusk A student in Cerritos High-school wore a MAGA shirt to class. Their teacher left school immediately and sent all her students this email. Imagine having your classmates read this, knowing it is directed at you. How can you feel safe or fairly treated moving forward?
Complaining that teachers “are NOT allowed to express their political views,” she went on to decry the “MAGA shirts” that “represent a deep hatred of minorities, women, non-christian, and LGBTQ+.”
According to the teacher, wearing merchandise supporting President-elect Donald Trump is “a HATE crime when worn at school.”
“As a Latina woman, who is agnostic at best but leans towards atheism and a mother of an LGBTQ+ daughter and supporter of ALL my LGBTQ+ students, I do not feel safe at work, and I fear for the safety of my daughter and my students when administration allows students to wear clothing that expresses their utter disdain and hatred of women, minorities, non-Christian religions and the LGBTQ+ community,” she continued in her rant.
The Spanish educator then referred to the president-elect as a “fascist put into office by people who fear the changing demographics of a country.”
She concluded her raging email by telling her pupils that she would be taking some days off for her mental health “while trying to come up with a better definition of what political neutrality looks like in the classroom so that we can all feel safe coming to school, rather than being intimidated by MAGA attire which has promised to end social services, including education as we know them.”
