Rule of random spawns; there is always ONE house fly in the master bathroom. Even if you kill it, another comes and takes it's place. Matter of fact, I've slain so many flies that sometimes, when I step out of the shower, the LEVEL UP text appears and light shoots out my dong for some apparent reason. I've gained a whole 3 guild levels on house flies alone, making me a Level 5 Fast Food District Manager.

But each generation gets angrier...

The one I killed tonight, BOSS FIGHT. "BZZZ BZZZZ," I could hear it taunt as it revved up it's little NSA nano-motor, sounding something like a mini Kawasaki motorcycle, headbutting me in the leg for 1HP damage each time. Apparently, my Hit% is low, I have easier time killing Cactaurs. You can tell this thing was a bio weapon created by the Shin-Ra DARPA.

Okay, so... I know, I know, I came to the fight unprepared. There was no save-point in sight, so I figured I'd be safe. With that said, I started the battle with nothing equipped but a Towel in my Weapon slot and a Damp Wash Cloth in my Offhand slot.

The fight starts off with me wildly swinging my Towel and Damp Wash Cloth, missing each time. It might sound like a cowardly thing to do, but luckily this was one of those rare boss fights where the Flee command was actually available. I escaped.

After properly equipping 2x Fly Swatters, I came in, ready for revenge. I swatted, and swatted, and swatted. It was a battle of epic proportions. Persistent as it was, I think it shaved off like 12 of my HP, so I was in dire need of a Potion or a Medical Herb or something, maybe some Yggdrasil Dew. Nope, forgot to bring any of those, so I used the Steal command on my medicine cabinet and it netted me 1x NyQuil.

I drank the NyQuil but, unlike normal Potions, it comes with the Drowsy side effect. The nasty thing about the Drowsy state is it reduces your Hit% by 50%, so hopefully you don't make that same mistake.

I don't remember much of the fight after that. All I remember was, in the end, the whole city my bathroom was destroyed, and there it lay, slain on my bathroom floor. FUCK YEAH, time for a fanfare!

I raised my 2x Fly Swatters above my head and spun 'em to be cool. In the end I got 0 EXP, 0 AP, 0 Gold and a... did I get any drops from that fight? Damn, I don't recall getting anything but a scolding from my NPC wife about "WTF are you doing to my beautiful bathroom?!?!1". This game kind of sucks...

I hope nobody ever has to encounter a Boss Fly, those things are mischievous. Anywho, now that THAT is over, I suppose I must start picking up the pieces of my life my bathroom.

For those who noticed: I wasn't really arround for the last month or so. Things aren't all that peachy at the moment and I'm trying to deal with what's going on as best as I can and thus decided to step away from the things I enjoy on the web for a bit, as it's to easy to get distracted and not get anything done. =b
Nothing is set in stone, but I think I know where things will be going from here on, so I decided to come back =) I will still be very busy, but at the very least I'll try to keep up with what you're all up too =D

Meanwhile, been working on my phonology of my conlang, and it boasts nearly 40 phonemes!
I geuss this inventory of the sounds of my language is pretty intimidating:


I wouldn't ask me how to pronounce most of these, that would involve me teaching you what Point- and Method-of-Articulation means...

Then my language has 9 vowels...
That almost makes a Consonant:Vowel ratio of 4:1
