edit: I'm going to Second City next weekend to sign up for the following weekend's open mic. I'm tired of investing a huge chunk of my day to go downtown to a crappy bar in a bad neighborhood. i haven't been back in almost a year, since the last time I went downtown a gangbanger was like "you aight, but keep your hat straight or put it in your pocket" Chongo and Trigger seemed to know what they were talking about, so I got my white ass out of there fast.

I decided to inspire the "ancient" feel of my language by increasing influence from languages like Akkadian and Ancient Egyptian.

Thus I derived many of my languages prepositions from Ancient Egyptian ones, such as Vrkhazhian "taf" (over, atop) from AE "tp" (atop), or "ʾīm" (by) from "ı͗n" (by), and "ʾīḍar" (since) from "ḏr" (since)

i went to the gay pride parade today and it was pretty fun. i was the lone male escort for 4 straight girls, and two lesbians in the big mean city. we got completely fitshaced, and it was great. it was like carnivale, but without anybody pissing in the street. i saw handjob negotiations, and got beads thrown at me when i yawned. i have no desire to do any rm'ing as long as i can party like this on my days off. i got really screwed last year when my knee injury stole my summer, and i'm having way too much fun to stay inside.

noooooooo the level of excitement i require makes my life incompatible with most indoor activities. i can only really workwork when it's winter and there were two extra months of winter this year. people in arizona were like "brrr it's only 65 outside" while i had to shovel my lawn so my dog wouldn't shit in the kitchen.

EDIT: i was informed today that what i thought were handjob negotiations was actually one gay guy telling another gay guy to go fuck himself. the kalamity herald deeply regrets any confusion in yesterday's edition.

My mum got laid off, now we have no source of income, except "reserve money" and I might have to get a job at a fast-food joint to support.

Working in Unity today, on a special project. A development kit for 3 genres (Individual projects I chip away at), an FPS, RPG and MOBA development kits. Working on the FPS one today, after finishing some animations and perfecting the shooting/reloading system. Now to get to work on the ADS (aim down sights) script.

Today is going to be fun.
