Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
Announcements and Updates
The Server Update advertised last week was complete, though there was an issue with a configuration file repeatedly being replaced with default settings. However, Kirito was able to disable what kept resetting the configuration and incidentally seems to make the server run even faster.

General Chat
This week, Remi-chan and her mum selling their car and relying on public transport Was on her mind. Along with that, she's been thinking of making a temporary test demo for Seraphim, an upcoming sequel to her current game Fantasia. That and work on past games. Meanwhile, it was two months when kyonides grumbled how some people thought Trump should have been killed, and hearing at the end of the week about a second attempt on the former President's life.

If you come across puzzled and choose to ask Remi-chan "What are YouTubing?", you would not be the only one. Even she is wondering why this Touhou lampoon even gave her chuckles.

One may have expected the US Presidential Debate between Harris and Trump would be the News of the World this week, but it turns out that there was another assassination attempt on Former president Trump's life as confirmed by the FBI. Despite the fact the so much isn't being revealed by the FBI and Secret Service over the last attempt, it was just reported the lead agent of Trump's Secret Service team during the last attempt was only promoted to his position despite failing his key exam. If anyone wants news about Vice President Harris, the ABC moderator of the debat admits that they only planned to fact-check Trump and not Harris. And while she lays blame on Trump for the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawl she and Biden approved, the GOP released a scathing report noting that the Taliban was in violation of the withdrawl agreement, NATO allies were in vehement opposition and noted several warning signs. Human trafficking hit the news, with over 100K are registered to vote in Wisconsin, despite it illegal to federally vote in the US, Hungary vowing to bus illegals to the EU capital in protest, a record number of migrant sex offenders were arrested in Maryland, the UK government refusing to release the cost of housing asylum seekers, and the Harris-Walz campain is labeling Springfield, Ohio residents racist despite they and other cities being overwhelmed by Haitian migrants. The Russian invasion of Ukraine heats up. Ukraine requested long-range missiles to let them counter-strike. But Russia threatened war with NATO, making US President Biden and UK's Prime Minister Starmer delay a vote to supply while NATO's admiral backs their use. Both Ukraine and Russia launch large-scale drone strikes while Russia plans to retake territory around Kursk. In the US, it is bad news for Democrats as revealed, White House’s John Kirby trashes veterans on 9/11 in an eMail, an Illinois mayor is not under investigation for an $85,000 party using taxpayer funds, the spy who worked for Governor Hochul found to have toured the White House, and two more counts against Trump were dismissed in Georgia. In Latin America, its being reported that Cuba is under a humanitarian crisis, and the people are living in poverty and need to scavenge for food. In Venezuela, Lake Maracaibo is covered with dead animals covered in oil due to neglegence. And Maduro's opposition leader fled Venezuela to Spain seeking political asylum, seeing that Maduro published false election results to claim another term. China whining about being mentioned during the Harris/Trump debate despite they weren't, a Pakistani Imam sentenced 14 years over a fatwa (an 'ordained' assassination order), the NY Times removes NAZI language from headline criticizing JD Vance, Sinaloa Mexico under siege amid Cartel in-fighting, and well over 20 more articles hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
This week's News of the Cyber World hit both Apple and Google hard, losing their appeals to lawsuits in the European Union, forcing them to pay billions in back taxes and legal penalties. Coersion during the U.S. election cycle also hit this week's news, covering bias among AI chatbots, and report showing censorship groups funded by the State department. Poland claiming they were targeted in Russian cyberattacks, Australia banning children fro social media, Amazon's California layoffs, social media open-air drug markets, and more hit this week's cybernews.

Games Development
Development Discussion
Work upon games is certainly What's up with our RMers, such as Remi-chan who received new portraits and charactersets from her two artists while producing a video short based upon one of the scenes from her game. Meanwhile, Steel Beast 6Beets requested to know where the data for game switches and variables were stored. After a brief explanation as to how the values were stored within the savegame data, it was found that he requested to know where the switches and variables were originally defined within the system file updated within the game's editor.

Material Development
Scripts Database
RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
For those want a bit of chaos within their RPGMaker XP game, you may be interested with KSkillUnstable XP by kyonides. The script he crafted will let you define skills and spells that may vanish at random moments during gameplay.

RPGMaker VX/VXAce (RGSS2/3) Engines
For those want a bit of chaos within their RPGMaker VX or VXAce game, you may be interested with KSkillUnstable VX + Ace by kyonides. The script he crafted will let you define skills and spells that may vanish at random moments during gameplay.

Creativity Section
Music and Audio
It has been a while since anything had changed within the Jake Gamelin Suite. However, the artwork shown on two youtube videos for his tracks "Hyperintense Immaterial Power ~Nine Tails Terminus" and "Grand Shadow Amalgam ~Unholy Infinity" of the Fantasia OST had been recently updated.

Art and Design
As starmage has ventured forth upon her Arts and Training Journey, she has encountered and created many new friends. Do say hi to Arma, a polite mouse girl fashioned in her green and brown striped sweater, or Ciara, a lass one may spy wearing black leggings under her white dress. And be sure to wave to Aryl the archer. All three of these young ladies were requests, and more are surely to follow.

For those working upon games or artworks, do remember that Eric Matyas's Massive Library of Images is Free for Everyone . It was this week that he chose to add more wood-grain textures to his database, be it fine grained pine, rough green-moss stained bark, or medium rough dark wood artwork. And for those of a more musical nature, he is working on a music mega pack of all his most popular genres.

This week, Demos "Rise Evil" Kerrigan presented what he proclaims is "My art deck". Illustrations and fan-art based on characters created by Remi-chan, you will find a number of pieces with girls both avian and feline in nature, but still very feminine. Frolicking in the water or just sitting at the beach reading Glamour magazine, going on safari where the hunt for tusked hippos goes very wrong, or martial arts against psychotic killers, there are spoilers within to open.

Let your eyes gaze upon Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing, even if she is totally bored with creating artwork with acrylics. But it was a commission and garnered her some funds. Meanwhile, Remi-chan is thinking about creating another piece based on one of her gaming universe's long-running protagonists, and it something promised.

Literature Section
Venturing into the library that is Remi-chan's Writing Snippets is like walking along the event horizon of a black hole. So it is fitting that her latest snippet from her current game has her three heroines fighting a being just outside of a conjured singularity itself.

Well, that's it for this week.
